Life Before CHB: Giovanni was born in Sicily, an island of the mainland of Italy, to Celestina Toriti and, unknowingly to him) Hepheastus. He was born on April 11, 1996. His "Dad" was a wealthy Italian businessman who moved the family to America after a Corperate merger. After moving to New York, Giovanni was enrolled in Yancy Academy, one grade above Percy Jackson. Giovanni was extremely homesick so his parents got him a pure bred Cirneco dell'Etna named Arcangelo (Arc Angel). 2 months after moving to New York, Giovanni was attacked by a rapid dog, and 3 months later was charged by a bull while in vacation in Oklahoma. His mother, who knew what was happening, talked Giovanni's father into sending him to Camp Halfblood.

RP Example: Giovanni arrived at Camp expecting the usual, a few cabins, a pool, a rock wall, a mess hall, and some woods. But Giovanni was surprised to see Strawberry Fields, TONS of cabins, an outdoor mess hall area and what looked like a fighting arena. His mother did not explain any of this to him, other than "ohh your going off to camp this summer bye"
Giovanni walked closer to the large Building with the sign BIG HOUSE hanging on it, when he was met by a most unwelcoming boy who walked akwardly in his sneakers and had a New York Yankees hat on.
"What are ya doin here" the boy asked
"umm, is this Camp Halfblood, my mother just dropped me of" said Giovanni with a thick Italian accent, "She said to tell you that Im a child of Hephaestus."
"Ohhh, well in that case, welcome, ill show you to Mr. D right away."
Giovanni and the Boy continued walking toward the BIG HOUSE of Camp Halfblood.

That could happen, but I wouldn't allow you anywhere near the forges.
