Are you mentally challanged or something?" Ash grumbled. "It is an religion to some people who are culturaly invested into this mythology and they would not appreaciate it if you are making fun of them." Ashley thought back to one of her friends at the foster home. She believed in the Roman gods extentivly, but no one really belevied her. Instead, they called her Crazy Cara because everyone knew Gods weren't real. Asher was one of those people who callled her that.

But now that she knows that they are real, or at least real to worshipers, Asher yearns to go back to Argentina to tell her that she beleives her. If she would stood up for Cara, she wouldn't have gotten picked on. It's funny how she thought Cara was crazy, but she was sane. She was just expressing what she and her family beleived in.

Antoinette gave her a bored look. "Oi, I didn't offend anyone. If you feel offended by what I said or did, that's your problem. And if that is the case, you're the mentally challenged here." She leaned back, blowing off smoke. A horse neighed.
The french girl was skeptical about most things, specially about religion. There were gods, yes, but did they really care about the mortals? Her dad, for example, abandoned her after her Family died, leaving her alone in the world and in the streets. She honestly wanted to hate him, yet she couldn't. She was fascinated that her dad was a god, and wished to maybe say 'hi' to him. Then complain about her brother.

Asher rolled her eyes. "You need a reality check." She was getting tired of this girl pretending like she doesn't give a **** about anything. Based on Antionette's little story from earlier, Asher decided that it was a shell for her. So being rude was a shell and doing things to her hair is a shell. Ash bet she was a blonde, all French girls are blonde right?

Antoinette looked at her and rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say." Her french accent was Strong. She paused and added. "You need some manners. I can see you staring with the corner of your eyes. Ask out." She fiddled with the single thin braid of her hair.

"Excuse me?" Asher asked. She did not understand what she ment about 'ask out' "What do you mean, Frenchy?" Asher was puzzled and she was rarely puzzled. She normally did the puzzling at camp. Not really her style, I mean, do you see the Thantatos kids? But how she speaks. She is like a odd little version of Shakespear, changing words in a sentance to seem like high comady.

"I mean you are staring and I prefer to explain whatever you would like to know for you to quit wondering and staring." Antoinette said boredly, putting the flame of her cigar down on the wooden floor and throwing it away. She stared at Asher, waiting. Asher would have irritated her by now, but somehow she was patient.

"I was just debating on what your real haircolor is." Ash said bluntly. She sat on a wooden stool and balancend on one leg of the stool, "Blonde, brunette? What is it." She was mystified on how Antionette said asked out. If she didn't know better she thought that Antionette ment something else.

"Yeah, I did." Asher commented. "Obviously, you're a total bad*** so I thought you would do that kind of crap." Ash rolled her eyes, a little annoyed.
"Other people might've thought that too, sweetie."

Antoinette rolled her eyes. "You're f****** irritating. I'm a bad*** in terms. Okay? I never did any s*** to my hair. Is just the way it is." She scowled, obviously annoyed now. Why everyone thought lowly of her?

"Damn." Ash replied to that odd little breaking point. It was amusing for Asher, but not really the best work ever. "Estúpida niña francés tiene que dejar el acto frieking ya. Por Dios." She muttered under her breath. She tapped her drumstick on the pad, causing the horse to nay. She walked over to one and stroked his nose, preparing for more yelling from Frenchy.

Antoinette rolled her eyes. "I don't waste time even trying to understand the disgusting spaniard language. But then, stop thinking I'm acting. I am like this, I didn't chose like you could have chosen, mewling qu*m." The ginger girl ran a finger over the dark blade, already considering wetting it with Asher's blood.

"I do choose, hon." Ash commented. "I have the freedom to choose, and before you say something racist like I'm some Spanish imagrent, let me tell you that you and your stuck up, cockey ways are never going to get you anywhere in life, so stop cating like a ***** and try to play nice."

Asher let out a big sigh, that felt good to get off of her chest. This whole time they were in the stables, Antionette has been ranting about Ash's language, calling it trash and other synomyns for that. Asher isn't parading around with a banner that says France Sucks!, now is she? It's so rude, Asher was getting tired of it. Yeah, she's snarky and all of that crap, but she doesn't go around and calls people and other things close to those people names.

Like the Yo Mamma Jokes. Asher never really understood them for one thing. And two, since her mother is a goddes, She finds it extremely dishonering if some twit comes up to her and says 'Your mamma's so fat, her belly button and butt are on different hemispheres!' Ashley would've beaten them up for disgracing the Goddess of War.

Asher looked at Antionette and frowned. What's so good about France anyway. Her friends allways told her that the French are the perves and stuff. And plus, they're famouse for their cheese. Cheese smells really bad. And if you know cheese is aged which is molding techinachly, why would you go and eat it anyway. It's just disgusting. And what's with their language. When Asher speaks Spanish, people can make an educated guess at least. Spanish isn't that hard to decode. Asher's taken French once, and man, that was so complicated and all the fancy pronounciations were getting on her nerves.

"What's the point of going somewhere? Everywhere I go I am treated the same. Always the frenchgirl with no manners, Always the girl who lived in the streets, disgust and disgust. If I am making you mad about spaniards and what I say about them is because they're just as bad as englishmen or the french!" Antoinette spat out angrily, eyes ablaze. She crouched, hugging her knees with her forehead on it. Oh no. She felt like she was going to cry.
Of course, she hated France. Why wouldn't she? Patria abandoned her when she needed, just like her useless father. Had thrown her in the streets, have denied her assistance, had neglected an orphan and her brother. She felt disgusted by everyone who looked down on her because of her clothes or boyish hair or past. She felt disgusted and sick of everything and she felt herself shuddering and before she could stop it, she was crying, openly sobbing without any shame. The pressure had been to much. She looked angrily at Asher. "You won. Congratulations." She hissed before hiding her face in her knees, a hand instinctively burying itself on her shirt to rub a scar over her ribcage. Clearly the heart-shaped scar was self-made and meant something, meant a lot. Antoinette ignored Asher's presence, and kept on crying.

Whoops. Asher thought. She never ment to hurt the girl. Normally when people crack, they normally would just go insane or something ludacris like that. She genually felt bad for Antionette, allthough in Asher's defence she never said Argentina was perfect. There were ghettos and unfortunately was caught up in the middle of that. That's why she seemed, tough. But whatever.

Asher took in a deep breath. What she was about to say would totally contradict everything she had probably said earlier. "Désolé. Ne pleure pas Antoinette. Um.. S'il vous plaît?" She did take French for a year, as rusty as she was, Asher did try. Ashley put on a smile and nudged Antionette. Odd, after she cracks someone, she never tries to help them. But she felt really bad for her, so she wanted to help.

Antoinette glanced up, cheeks wet with tears and eyes red as she looked into Asher's eyes. She hiccuped, wiping the salty trails off her face. "...P-Pretty good french, Sunshine." She chuckled gently, voice still cracking. She took a deep breath, quitting the sobbing. She felt calm somehow, Asher quit being nasty so she was ok. Maybe this girl was nice after all.
Antoinette sat upright. "I think....We started off the wrong foot." She cleared her throat and raised a ginger eyebrow. "That's the right way to say it, right?"

Ashe frowned, "I think you could say that." She laughed quietly. Ash came closer to her, "Between you and me, Asher's not my real name." It felt good to say that. She never told anyone that. She leaned backwrds and turned around. Pretending she never said anything.

Antoinette's eyes went huge. "Oh. She hummed, thinking about a million of possibilities. "What is it then?" She asked bluntly, fidgeting with the braid of her hair. She looked at Asher all over.

Asher looked down and scratched her neck, "It's um." Asher began to stall. She shouldn't have said anything. "Ashley." She mumbled.

Gods she hated that name. It was so feminine and over used it made her sick. So, ehen she was seven, Asher went online and found better nicknames that corralate it. The foster kids didn't even know her name because she never talked. When she began to talk, it was snarky, so they gave her a nickname of Ash because she burns the other kids.

Antoinette tilted her head and smiled weakly. "That's it?" She laughed hoarsely. "Oh come on, petit bon bon. I thought it was much worse." She reached and ruffled Asher's hair. "I'm named after a beheaded woman!" She grinned. "Ashley is so much more normal...Sometimes I wish I had a normal name."
Antoinette wasn't lying. It was hard having a normal life, that is, if living in the streets was normal, without a common name. But no. Antoinette. She sighed.

Ash put her hands on her hips. She told Antionette that earlier, but she wouldn't listen to her. "Your name is from you heritige." She simply put. Asher wasn't even really Argentinian. Her dad was a weird American archeologist who just happen to go to Argentina to drop the weird little god baby off with her weird little black hair and her are muscel in her lip that made her smile look off. Antionette's name represented where she's from. She took one hand off of her hip and ruffled through her hair. Asher pouted, having her own little pitty party running through her mind.

"Oh hush. No one names their children like that anymore. It's weird and old." Antoinette reasoned, crossing her arms. "Names mean nothing. I mean, yes, typical french name. I don't give a s*it. Still preferring a normal name, is not even heritage! If I only had of french my surname, everyone would say I was french. So I really don't care." Antoinette reached out and poked her temple. "You have a pretty common name. Not to be ashamed of. But since Asher is more bad*ss, I'll call you that. Deal?" She smirked.

"Deal" Asher replied. Asher tried to ignore the weird urge in her super ego to say something rude or sacastic. But she wanted to be nice for a little bit, even if she wasn't nice in reality. Ash could turn a new leaf. In the middle of a whole deep conversation. Yeah, not likely. It's just like in Taming of the Shrew. Don't be suprised, Asher likes to read sometimes. Ash doubted that Katherine really became obiedient after two weeks with Petruchio, no matter if he starved her or not. Come on Shakespear, not reasonable. If that was just staged like some liturature specialist say it is, than why do people still expect people to change? Puzzling really, you'll need a philosopher to figure that out. And the daughter of Neith doubted that anyone in this shabby camp is that smart.

Antoinette chuckled. "Right. You are a sarcastic b*tch, I am a sarcastic b*tch, this could work." Any signs that she'd been crying vanished. She was just good at that, that and parkour. Fleeing from emotions and fleeing from places were her best abilities. She smiled to herself, looking it Asher's eyes as she spaced out, thinking about books. She wondered what she was thinking of, but didn't ask.

Asher rolled her eyes. "Oh sweetie, I'm the b****." The statement wasn't false in Asher's mind. In her specualations, Asher thought that she was that crazy Latina b**** that runs around Camp, mainking fun of everyone. Most likely in everyone else's mind, Asher was still probably the crazy Latina that calls everyone out on their stupid mistakes that they find so funny.

Like Instagram. All the girl campers think it's so cool to upload pictures and get on the popular page. 'Oh look, I just had a paint fight with the bestie.' or 'Me and the bae' or 'Hashtag throwback.' Asher hated how they say those things. And then the worst part is when they comment artsy on a picture of glue with a damn filter. If Asher was on Instagram, well, not so nice things would be said. Heck, she would rule Instagram with a sarcastic fist, crushing the stupid ones with a little pinch. Too harsh? Too harsh.
