I walked into the game room which was filled with neon colored lights advertising different games. I found Chris and grimaced, I wasn't too fond of him because I couldn't see his future as he disrupted time, and that bothered me. But despite my feelings I walked over to him and sat next to him. "X-box? What's an X-box?" I asked him watching the screen.

"An electronic gaming device, using laser technology to read a disc and play a moving image on a screen... sure I'll play,but give me a second to understand the controller." I grabbed a white device with colored buttons and control sticks. "Are the letters supposed to be upside down?" I asked Chris.

"That would make sense, it's now easier to reach the control stick." I messed around a bit learning the controls, how to fire, moved and target. "Okay, I'm good."

I stared at the screen and changed my view to look at Chris, "ready?"

"Set it up... because I don't know how..." I said smiling

I held my controller tightly and stared at the screen intently. Chris did several more things I wouldn't know how to do, and then, the game started. In the first round I walked around and found Chris' player I shot repeatedly and killed him, but not really because it is a game. I thought it was beginners luck and I was right. We continued to play and he killed me, several more times, but again not really because it is a game, and I refused to use vision for my benefit as that would be cheating.

I have my person throw a flash grenade to stun him so he couldn't see or hear me and then I shot him repeatedly, I saw the score 7400 to 7400, next kill wins.

I forgot about grenades. I threw one which hit a wall and bounced back. It exploded... and I was dead, but not really because it was a game. Chris won because of my stupid mistake... Nice.

I shrugged, "why not?" I remembered what Chris had done and started the game by myself. I searched the field and shot at Chris repeatedly, he died and I again thought beginners luck. But he didn't die for real, because it's a game.

I shrugged, "Beginner's luck?"

"But I've never played before..."

I entered the room and saw boys playing the X-Box

I smiled and looked at my watch, capture the flag would be starting soon. "We should go get ready for capture the flag." I told him. I set down the controller and stood. "See ya." I said and headed down to the forest.

I get the controller and start practicing on campaign.I played exodus.At least i have more time to play video games when im on a wheelchair.
