Randi rolled here eyes. "Dude calm down, I was just joking," she said, tossing the ring back.
Kat grit her teeth. "Who the hell do you think you are? You think you can go around threatening people to get whatever you want? Need I remind you how you were so over come with grief you stabbed yourself?"
Randi's eyes flickered back and forth between the two.

After tossing him the ring, Randi grabbed Kat by the shoulders and dragged her away. Working to forget about the boy, Randi and Kat turned their backs to him and began walking in the opposite direction, continuing their search for Amber.

"Hey Randi," Kat snickered. "Hey, hey Randi,"
Randi raised an eyebrow as they walked. "What?" She asked.
Kat grinned and pulled 10's Sonic Screwdriver out of her coat pocket. Randi gasped in amazement. A wide grin spread across her face. "Amber's going to lose it,"
"Dude, we gotta get Noonian to make us a real one," Kat said.
"Are you the Doc-to'?" Randi asked, mimicking Catherine Tate from the comedy sketch with her and David Tennant.

"Do you smell o-zone?" Kat asked and turned around... Just in time to duck. "Randi! Get down!"

Randi yelled something profane and ducked just in time.

Kat and Randi kept low to the ground, scooting away from the extending chain. When they were both a safe enough distance away, the pair got up and stood their ground. The pair of girls were confused by the situation (although Kat was significantly less so).
"I did not beat cancer twice just to die here, today!" Randi yelled, indignantly. In one hand she whipped out her misericorde and created an orb of light in one hand.
Kat rolled her eyes and sighed, discontented. She wanted nothing to do with this fight but it appeared she had no choice but to get involved. "All I wanted was to watch Doctor Who in peace," she grumbled, pulling out her trident.

Randi was trying, she really was, to take this supposed "psycopath" seriously. He was, after all, try to kill them. But the man was trying to swing a chainwhip dagger in his mouth! It was just so... So ridiculous! Randi chuckled and giggled and eventually broke out in full blown laughter.
Kat rolled her eyes. "Randi, would'ya focus?" She snapped.
Randi coughed awkwardly and muttered an apology. She sent her first orb of light straight at the boy.

Kat summoned a wave of water from a nearby stream to wash away the sand with a flick of her wrist. Kat could handle the sand. That was easy. The ocean is the master of the sandy beach, having the power to wash away all that it wishes in the tide. The problem was the lightning. Lightning was, after all, attracted and spread out by water. "I got the sand, you got the lightning?" She asked. Randi nodded in agreement. Kat grit her teeth in worry for her friend; all of Randi's limbs were bionic. Would electricity be attracted to the metal? Would her limbs short out in the electrical current? Kat prayed to every god she knew that Noonian had design those limbs to be lightning-proof.

Randi, on the other hand, wasn't worried in the slightest. In fact, she was totally energized. She hadn't had a good fight in a long time. Cracking her neck, she fired off two more orbs of light at high speeds. She then notched an arrow and shot it off with ridiculous accuracy towards the moving target. She was, after all, Apollo's daughter.

Kat cried out as electricity travelled up the water. Her vision flickered back and forth; she was worried she might pass out. But the feeling passed almost as quickly as it had come. Kat stood her ground; his lightning was nothing more than a little shock compared the lightning she faced fighting Svetlana or Krystal. Still, she was a bit shaken by the incident and had to take a moment to breath. But as the boy came close, she rushed him with her trident. She figured his chain whip daggers would be useless in close combat, and Randi could handle the projectiles.

Randi watched the boy carefully. She aimed an arrow just in front of his face. It would miss him, of course, but that was all part of the plan. She fired off the arrow, hoping the catch him off guard. Immediately after she floured off two more light balls, hoping one might make contact.

"Sorry doesn't cut it," Randi muttered darkly. She pulled the string back tighter.
"Randi..." Kat started.
"No, Kat. No. He's the one who injured you-nearly killed you. I know it. He's done this before, who's to say he won't do it again?"
"Stop, Randi,"
"No second chances,"
"It's not his fault, Randi! He's sick!"
"But it is! It's his fault and nobody else's!" Randi yelled. "He knows he has a dangerous medical condition! He knows it's his responsibily to take medication and prevent this! If he chooses not to take his medication, he is just as guilt as a sane man!"

Kat stared at Randi for a long time. The Borg Queen swallowed thickly under her friend's gaze. "You don't have to play God," Kat told her friend. "It's alright if you can't do it. C'mon. Doctor Who, remember?"
Randi lowered her weapon, not taking her eyes off the boy. Kat had, once again, saved her from making some terrible mistake. "New Earth," Randi cleared her throat. "we're watching New Earth," shee put on her normal smile and did her best to pretend like nothing had happened. She reminded Kat of the Doctor, himself, sometimes.
