I appeared, leaning over Aidan. I began to prod her, saying, "Aiiddaaan. Aiiddaann."

"Whut?" I woke up, glaring at Stella.

"Hey. Where's Temp?"

"Dunno." I tried to roll over onto my side, facing the wall, but Stella gripped my shoulder and pulled me back in her direction. "What do you want? You're goddamned lucky I'm not telling Mom yet."

I chuckled slightly. "Would she care?"

I turned slightly, grinning as I heard the door being knocked on. "Now, I wonder who that could be."

"Just shut up," I muttered, getting out of bed. I brushed my hair as I walked to the door, opening it to see one of the little boys from before with Tempest. "Oh, hi. What do you need?"

"Nick says Stella hurt somebody for living." I telled Aidan.

"Did she now?" I narrowed my eyes, glaring at Stella. She grinned and waved.

I nodded, making a sad face. "I would never lie to you, Tempest. You're my little sister."

I face-palmed, for both Tempest falling for Stella's lie and Stella acting like a cheesy kindergarten TV show host.

I leaned against Aidan's bunk post. "Who's played with you all your life? Who's taken care of you all your life? Aidan and I, and mom. What does this kid do? He plays with you, but goes off saying I, your oldest sister, did bad things. Wouldn't you feel mad?"

I looked at the ground.

I rolled my eyes, leaning forward to the little boy and whispered, "If you leave now, I'll talk to Tempest for you and see if I can get her to believe you."

I looked at the little boy I'd taken to the infirmary, then at Stella, who was sitting on my bunk with her legs folded, hand on her knee. She waved to him. "Oh Zeus...."

"Welcome back. Is your snake okay?" I asked him.

I looked around and tried to leave, but Aidan picked me up and put me on her bunk next to Stella.

I looked at Tempest, who was sitting in the corner of my bunk in fetal position, staring blankly at Stella. Poor kid.

I sighed, turning to Stella. "Mom needs to know. I can't let you keep doing this anymore."

"Don't worry her poor heart about it. She and step-dad won't be too happy with me." I leaned back to touch Tempest on the knee. "You okay, kiddo?"

"I might have lost my friend because of you."

"There's lots of other kids in this camp who you can be friends with." I patted her on the head and stood up, walking to the door. "If anybody tries to hurt either of you, Benji and I are here to protect you." I raised my hand and waved to them without looking back, and disappeared.

I sniffled.

I walked over to Tempest and climbed onto my bunk. "Don't worry, Temp.... I'll try getting Stella to stop. And the little boy to be your friend again."
