An odd twist of fate

Post by Prophet on 2/14/2015, 1:59 am

I had come back from Camp Half-Blood, quite a bit changed. I'd played Halo 4, and it changed my view on the Master Chief entirely. I'd played it on the new Xbox, the Xbox One, at 60 frames per second, which was beautiful. I'd also played Halo 2 Anniversary, which was cool. But now I knew the Chief was human, no denying it. It was a big change for me.

I then saw the girl who'd been ridiculously rude. I was nowhere near happy to see her. It was no secret either, I let out a disapproving sigh.

Re: An odd twist of fate

After spending the whole day training, I had decided to take a small break before continuing, wanting to avoid driving myself to exhaustion. So I sat down on the grass to eat my sandwich. It was going well until I heard a sigh. I looked up with a glare and it was the same boy who had annoyed me the other day at my mother's temple. I jumped up and grabbed my sword, that was laying next to me on top of my shield."Well, well, what do we have here?"I sneered

I noticed her draw her weapon, and then drew my sword and dagger. I said, "What we have here is someone who'll send you down to Tartarus if you so much as touch me!" At that, I awaited her move.

"As if"I just spat before I attacked, dealing quick blows on his arms and legs but always careful to keep a quite safe distance from my opponent

Before the strikes came in, I rolled backward. As she missed, I used a nearby wall, ran on it, sprung off, and managed to kick her shield off her arm. I then pulled my dagger out again, then stabbed at her stomach.

I blocked the possibly fatal attack easily and pushed hin away, spinning my sword above my head before slashing at his head, changing course seconds before it hit and instead aiming for his shoulder

I managed to block the sword at the last second, then attempted to bash into her with my shoulder. I didn't expect it to be that close a margin between success and failure, she was good.

Jumping back, I stood in the usual fight pose with a smirk on my face. Turned out, the kid was an interesting opponent. Not worthy, per say, but skilled. He was good.

OOC: Sorry about the suckish post, it's 4 am and I just woke up

I saw her jump back, but I was prepared for it. I rolled to her side, then stabbed out with my dagger, and blocked her exit with my sword. It would take a master to escape from between this rock and hard place.

OOC: When exactly will they stop fighting?

Seeing his plan, I jumped up high in the air, ndoing a backflip and landing on my feet safely, raising an eyebrow at the male camper facing me.

OOC: It can be now, or they fight some more ir something. Whatver you want, really, I don't mind

It was here that I realized we knew each other's tricks. We couldn't defeat each other, we knew each other's moves too well. I said, "Neither of us is going to win this fight, we'll call it a draw." I then sheathed my weapons, and walked a little bit closer to her.

OOC: Here it is.

I said, "Well, I aim to please. It's what happens when you live as a soldier for so long. I walked a little closer, knowing she agreed that we'd call it a draw.

I noted, "I assume your god parent is Bellona, going by the fact that you were in Bellona's temple when I first saw you.

OOC: I'd like it to be in this topic, but sure, pacing is okay.

I chuckled a little at that and said, "I aim to please." I returned the smirk and did a very sarcastic but joking bow.
