| Never watched FMA, except for one episode where my cousin was watching on his computer. What is it about, exactly? ________________ Kendall, Daughter of Ares Rosalie, Daughter of Aphrodite Claire, Daughter of Hecate Archer, Son of Hecate Stella, Daughter of Ouranos Meagan, Daughter of Gaea Aidan, Daughter of Pyriphlegethon Tempest, Daughter of Aeolus Nelly, Daughter of Apollo Benji, Daughter of Kuk Deja, Daughter of Odyne (previously purple font) Mason, Son of Hermes Waldo, Son of Hermes Terra, Daughter of Tiki
You power-play, I god-mod. (Switching "god-mod" with "power-play" works too.)

| Well, this is what I remember. Sort of. It's set in a fictional universe in which alchemy is one of the most advanced scientific techniques known to man, the story follows the brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, who want to restore their bodies after a failed attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy. Alphonse is in like, a big metal suit, with I think his soul in it or something. And Edward is missing an arm and leg, which he replaced with metal part. And, I"m pretty sure Edward is the State Alchemist. |

| Okay I shall describe the main part of the beginning of the story..... So.... yeah, alchemy is the most advanced scientific thingy. It's based on a rule of equivalent exchange. Like, if you wanted to make a rock, you'd have to get all the stuff that a rock would be made out of and turn it into a rock. You usually have to draw a little circle-thingy to be able to use alchemy on something. So a long time ago, Edward and Alphonse Elric's dad just left home for no apparent reason. They were like, toddlers then. Over the years, they studied his notes about alchemy....and they got really good at using it. So when their mom died, they tried using alchemy to bring her back to life. Unfortunately, a bunch of random ingerdients aren't enough to create a person. Al lost his whole body in the process, and Ed lost a leg. Dun dun dun..... In desperation, Ed dragged himself over to a suit of armor and drew a little alchemy circle with his own blood. It cost him an arm, but Alphonse's soul was bound to the suit of armor. Anyway, the alchemy totally FAILED. The creature they brought back wasn't even their mother. Only a freaky black, burnt, zombie-monster that died soon after it was created. The only good thing that the ordeal resulted in was the fact that Ed and Al could use alchemy without drawing alchemy-circles now. Both brothers desperately wanted their original bodies back. Their friend Winry made prosthetic metal limbs for Ed, so he could walk around and do normal stuff again. When the military came to recruit them, saying the brothers had a better chance of regaining their bodies as State Alchemists (alchemists in the army), the brothers accepted. WARNING: SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT. | Spoiler: | | | So then there's a few evil Homunculi, who are pretty much just manisfestations of evil. Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Pride, and Sloth. They are virtually impossible to kill. Er.... but Lust and Greed die, and Envy is half-dead. (Envy is the most awesome one EVER.)... but then ANOTHER Greed comes along and wrecks everything - -"..... And it turns out that the whole country is just being used as a gianormous alchemy circle to create a human-philosephers-stone (since it takes live humans to make those things.... plus a person who survives to make INTO the human/stone)..... So.... yeah that's the main story of the later part. |

| What the heck is the difference between an anime show and a manga show anyway? I know manga usually refers to comics AND shows, but anime refers to drawings and shows too. So I get really confused when people say "the manga"... |

Manga uses a lot more straight lines than anime |

| Um... no. Manga is more like.... um how can I explain it? Usually someone draws the manga first, then the anime comes. So basically, an anime is short for animation. Example: um.. a link if you need it to the manga website I'm on. http://www.onemanga.com/And well, when it'll be done? Uh dunno. It MIGHT take 2 weeks from now, maybe more. |

I STILL haven't figured out how to lock a forum... 2. I have some color issues on the mods... 3. I haven't figured out how to get a C- box... Other than that I'm about finished... |
