James always found the lake at Camp Half-Blood soothing. Every since he got here. Whenever he felt stressed out, he went to the lake. Whenever he got into fights with his siblings (which happened a lot) , he went to the lake. Just needed to relax, guess where he was. The lake. James' friends always joked that the wrong god claimed him, that he was a kid from a water god. James just laughed that off. He distinctly remembered the day when Ares claimed him. Show up to camp and BAM! Flaming boar over his head. Yeah.

Today, James just needed to relax. He had a rough day after falling off the rock wall, getting beaten up by some of his siblings on the wresting mat, and sleeping through lunch. He sat under his favorite tree on the north side, it had the best view of the water nymphs. James leaned his back against the tree and pulled one of his contraband Mountain Dew cans from his backpack. Everyone knows you aren't supposed to bring outside drink in but you did it anyways. The Hermes cabin was making a pretty penny off it. He popped it open and took a quick sip. Nothing could be better than relaxing in your favorite place with you favorite drink.

Jane Laatikainen waded out from the water, shaking her head to lose some of the water that clung to her purple hair. The daughter of Briareus stood an impressive six foot four and was renown for her short temper. Jane got on really well with the children of Ares often joining them in their fights or challenges.
She wore a purple swimsuit with the Camp Halfblood symbol printed on it. Jane loved the colour purple. She reached for a towel which she left on the shore, wiping her face with it. She noticed a boy sitting under a tree. Little, her nickname from a long time ago decided to go talk to him. She walked over towards him with a friendly smile on her beautiful face. "Hi"

OOC: I apologise for the late reply.

James had already empty two of the cans in what little time he had been there. Even though he already slept through lunch, he still was tired. He moved his backpack and laid his head on it. It wasn't too comfy with all the soda cans he had in his back, but it might do. All the caffeine from the Mountain Dew's did not make things easier.

After a bit, James knew he wasn't going to be able to sleep. Two Dews turned out to be enough to keep him up. He just decided to lay there staring up at the leaves. The day was nice enough, it felt good in his custom Camp tank. The cotton material bugged him, so he got his printed on athletic gear.

Someone said something and James looked up. And he had to look way up. The girl standing before him was tall, very tall. Especially from James' position on the ground. "Oh, uh... Hello."
