Doing Chorse-y Stuff.

Post by HaleyTheRandom on 4/13/2018, 8:54 pm

Haley was currently in the stables, completing her final chore for the day. She liked it here with the pegasi. The gentle brush strokes against their hair, the soft nuzzlings that they gave her - horses were great animals. All in all, she was happy that she had this chore for today. It allowed her some quiet time to think and clear her head.

She stepped back away from the Pegasus that she was currently working on, only to stick her foot in the water bucket that she was currently using, soaking her leg up to the knee. She let out an audible groan of frustration.

Andy walked through the camp with his scythe resting on his shoulder and his hellhounds at his side, looking like an agent of death rather that a child of Hecate. Hearing a bit of a bustle from he nearby stables the tall teen walked over with a hand in his pocket as his more fluffy of the two hounds bounded ahead and began sniffing around the stables, sitting behind a girl who was working on tending to a pegasus. Andy was still a little ways away so the hound merely sat there looking both a bit fierce and rather cute at the same time. He barked once to attempt to get the girls attention as his tail wagged and his spied red collar shone in the soft light, red eyes glowing brightly to show his excitement.

So the crap day got even crappier. Nothing like getting your shoe soaked in dirty water so when you walked it made squishy noises for the rest of the day. She was working on trying to dry off some of the water with a spare towel that she had, but was failing miserably. That was when she heard a bark.

Looking up, she would see not one, but two hellhounds. The quick thought ran through her mind that someone from the inside may have summoned them as a prank. That was until she noticed the collar, at least, at which the creature politely sat down and started wagging it's tail at her.

Haley couldn't help but smile as she squatted down to scratch the hellhound under the chin. "Hey there, fella," she said, a playful tone in her voice.

Scorpio quickly barked happily again as she pet him and his tongue hung out from the side of his mouth as well. Gemini on the other hand did not look so friendly. He resembled most of his dark creature brethren and was daunting to look at. He sat there and seemed to sneer at the girl almost as Andy walked into the stables and hummed to himself as he drummed his fingers on the staff of his scythe while trying to find his hounds.

Scorpio, who was all too pleased to be in the company of a new friend, didn't budge a bit as he heard his owner. Gemini gave a side glance at his litter mate before walking off and going to his owner who crouched down and gave him a pet, still unaware that there was a sibling in the stables.

Haley continued to pet the hellhound. She had always had a soft spot for dogs - or animals in general. Hellhounds were dogs, though, in their own way. Catching sight of the second hellhound, however, she was quick to notice it's behavior. It didn't seem as friendly, and the look in it's eyes seemed to say 'challenge me.' It was at that moment that the second creature bounded over to another person that was just entering the stables. The first thought that the girl had was that she now had to socialize with this person. One more person to add to the list of her awkward conversations, right?

"Are they yours?" she asked.

Andy hadn't heard the girl at first but his brain eventually caught up and he looked over at her. "Oh, yeah. Gemini and Scorpio are mine." He offered a kind and gentle smile while looking to her then glancing around the stables. "I take it you're on clean up duty?" He asked while walking around again.

"You could say that," Haley responded, before picking up the brush. "What brings you here?"

Andy gave a not and chuckled as the hounds moved to a stable and laid down at the feet of the Pegasus that Andy usually rode. She was a rather stunning mare, black in color with a small patch of while on her snout as well as chest. She didnt seem too bothered by the hounds but gave then a glance once before relaxing.

The boy didn't seem to be a person of many words, and Haley could respect that. Seeing the Pegasus, she would once again be stunned by the beauty of it. It was one of the most beautiful ones in the stables - in her opinion, at least. The girl had always wanted one herself. "She's gorgeous," she said softly.

"Indeed she is, her name is Scout and she has been my companion pretty much since i came to camp. She was the only one in the stables who wasnt scared out of her mind by the hounds." He explained while running his hand along her neck before stroking her snout and smiling to himself as the hounds sat next to him, one on either side.
