Being alone

I hopped up onto a rock, the water freezing a bit around me. I sighed. I c ould never swim without freezing the stupid water. I ran my head through my pale blond hair and closed my odd violet eyes. I missed england.

i walked to the lake happy about the improvements to my axe. i started looking at it seeing where it could be improved. i said,"lets see the blade need to be rid of the bumps on the blade. that way it's nothing but sharp."

I lookedd up, and tried to do something abotu the single tear that had fell down my cheek and was now frozen. Ugh. "So... we meet again." I said in my quiet voice.

"Nothing really... I just feel kind of homesick." I blurted out in my accent. Ugh! Why did I say that?

"Oh." I said. "I don't really... have much family. I ran away before. I just miss england." I said, feeling selfconcious of the frozen tear on my cheek.

"its hard being cooped up in this camp,"i said." i used to live in a good town. a peaceful town. i really want to go home too. but i can't."

I sighed, and stood up. I looked wistfully at the lake. "I never learned how to swim. THe water freezes within a foot of me. Watch." I walked out into the middle of the lake, freezing a pathway. After a moment i was on a patch of ice, in the middle of the lake. I alguhed.

'that must be hard," i said."well its better than your body heat always being too high. i always feel warm."

I smiled, and feeling a little light headded from making the path, I stewpped forward, but the ice cracked. I fell into the water and it froze above me. I was stuck beneath the ice, with out air. CRAP!. I beat on the side.

i touched the ice making it warm enough that it melted.

I gasped, crawling up before it froze again. I layed on the ice and laughed shakilly. "Why do you always end up saving me?"

I smiled happily and stared up into his eyes. "Thank you." I kept staring at him.

I don't know why I did it, but i held his hand, still smiling at the person who had saved me twice now.

I smiled, feeling pretty good about myself because i saved a life twice.

I tried to sit up, but was caught by a wave of dizziness and layed back down. 'Ugh... I'm just gonna..." BUt I head already fallen asleep.

i tried touching her head trying to make her warm enough that she'll wake up.

I started to snore softly, still asleep.

I started dreaming and talked in my sleep. "Bra...dley...."

I turned my head to the side and smiled peacfully in my sleep.
