i look at the general direction of a thump on the floor. i scan the area for any movement

i sigh and sit on the bunk i was hiding behind. i make a water ball and look at it.

i throw the water ball angirly at the wall farthest from us. it hits the wall and splatters. why did i have to be so mean?

i catch teh ball as it came down harder. i sat up straight and looked at the wall behind her
