I came back from a long day. That girl was insane! I lay on my bed and tried to process the day's events. I really wanted to know if I could beat Jace, but their match kept getting interrupted! It was frustrating to think of how many things could distract them! Dez had obviously been a huge nuisance, but Marcus always seemed to keep Jace from staying focused. It was quite upsetting to have my sparring partner, Miss. Ga-ga run off and save Mr. Pathetic from the mind musher. It bugged me. Tomorrow, I thought to myself, I will get to beat Jace in an interrupted match.

I returned to my bed after sword fighting with Sophie and hanged my swords near my bed. A fell onto my bed and heard a sharp, "Meow!" I got off of my bed to realize that my cat, Shadow had decided to find me at camp. I picked him up and brushed his fur with my hand. It made me think of home again. I sighed and lay back down on my bed. Shadow curled up next to me and we both fell asleep.

I woke up and decided to go looking around the forest. I grabbed my swords, just to be prepared. I was almost out the door when Shadow meowed. I smiled and patted his head while he licked his white paws. I then headed out the door.

I walked past the Athena cabin and had an idea. "Tori!" I called in.
"What?" Tori said, still half-asleep.
"Grab your swords and come on!" I insisted.
"Ugh," Tori rolled out of bed tiredly. "Liane, it's too early!"
"Just come!"
Tori moaned and followed Liane out of her cabin.
