Drake's Bunk

I walk near my bunk and notice someone lying on it. I look at my bed and see Lila. I didn't know if I wanted to scream at her to get out or hug her for being here... I just stood there.

I sit up and put my head in my hands without opening my eyes

I sit on the bunk next to mine and it makes a slight squeaky spring sound.

I look at her silently with a blank face. No happiness or sadness, just confusion.

I look over at him and stand up, "Drake......."

I stay sitting and look down. I close my eyes and sigh.

I go and sit on my knees infront of him, "Drake........pleae....."

I open my eyes slowly and look at her. "Why are you here?" I say quietly.

I close my eyes and shake my head. I didn't know whether to believe her or not.

"Because it's hard for me to." I reply. I open my eyes and look away from her.

"Because I'm worried about him." I say to him, "He's hurt badly and my friend.......but why does that make you think that I don't love you?" I ask him

I sigh. "Remember my last and only serious relationship? I had my heart shattered and I just can't think of those words anymore, Lila. I can't say them or believe them..." I say softly.

I frown and slump down. I look at the ground, "So....you can't believe I love you.....you can't believe me at all?" I ask him,

I look back at her and frown. "Not right now Lila. I've only just met you and you're saying you already love me... I just don't want either of us, especially you, to get hurt... I need time to think and my heart to heal."

I sigh, "Well then call me when your hearts healed and you've had your time to think." I say and stand up. "I'm going to go make sure my friend is okay. I heard today is his birthday." I mutter then leave

I sigh and look away as she leaves. I get up and lie on my own bunk. I close my eyes and think.

I walk in and pack my stuff. I see Lila walk from her bunk to mine and smile. "Ready?" I ask.

I smile at him after I walk over, 'Absolutely! Are we gonna use my tickets?"

I nod and carry my backpack on one shoulder. "Might as well." I say and take her hand again. I walk out to Half Blood Hill.
