Rachel grinned and was about to say something, when green mist began to fill the room and her eyes began to glow. She opened her mouth and recited in a gravelly, ancient-sounding voice,

"When one is two then four shall go
Where no man has gone before
The goddess of the soothing dove
First find her and of red diamonds implore

The sun the great good warmth of heaven
Clouds that made all our happy days
Her mane now locked up in a cage
Forget the sacrifice she had made.

K. I say nothing, but stand there, completely numb

K. I blink. "I... Got the prophecy..."

Rachel, though greatly weakened by her prophecy-spewing, was still strong enough to say indignantly, "Haven't you learned to knock?"

"Oh yeah, sure. People are so sorry bursting into the oracle's room." Rachel's mind was hazy as she continued her rant against questers, or more specifically people who didn't bother to knock before entering.

K. I give a curt bow. "thank you, Rachel. We'll be off then," I shove Omen out the door and leave

Rachel yawned, getting up and shutting the door. She slumped onto her bed and fell asleep.

Rachel woke up with a start, nearly knocking over books on her nightstand. She sat up, grumbling to herself. "Come in."

Rachel frowned at him, a bit groggy as she scratched her head. "Who're you?"

"Huh...." Rachel scratched the back of her head, then picked up her blue hairbrush. She thought a moment as she brushed her hair, then nodded. "Oh, yeah...."

Mid-stroke, she dropped the brush on the bed and green mist filled the room. She opened her mouth, her eyes glowing neon green, and recited:

"Six will answer the call to rise or fall.
It's a night with a brawl and one shall fall.
The first challenge is located in the safari,
where you seek the map for the location of the pearl.
When the truth shall be heard,
you shall go against a scarab herd.
from the temple that has the golden talons,
is where you seek the second challenge.
once that challenge is complete,
you shall receive the pearl you seek.
Where the final challenge awaits
is where the kraken seeks to take."

The green mist left the room, and Rachel's eyes stopped glowing. She laid back on her pillow, mumbling to herself incoherently.

"I dunno," Rachel mumbled, scratching her chin. "Gift of Apollo, really."

Rachel looked up from her mini-blank out on her bed, hearing a knock at the door. She sat up abruptly, patting down her hair. "Come in."
