Wade entered cabin twenty-two and went to his bunk. To his surprise, he found a medium sized, celestial bronze shield laying there waiting for him. He had forgotten all about his Christmas present, and it was over five months since it passed! He picked it up and noticed the faint blue glow radiating from it. He admired the waves engraved on the rim and the whirlpool design in the middle. Wade slid it on his left forearm with ease, seeing how comfortable and perfectly fitting it was. Smiling at his very late surprise, he left for the woods to test it out.
