Building Stuff

I walked in and looked around....looked like the Armory. Gods why does it got to be so hot in here? I shook my head and waited for Aereon.

I walked in and looked around. Er, this looks like the Armory.. I walked over to Audrey and set my bag of metal on a table. "Okay, ready to work?" I said smiling.

I looked over at Aereon. "As ready as ever." I said, smiling back.

I nodded then unloaded the metal. I pursued my lips together then poured onto the table. Clanking and clinging echoed throughout the whole room. "What are we Making again?"

I examine each of the metal. I shrugged. "I don't really know...I think I said something awesome..."

I looked at the pieces of metal, deep in the thought. I took a piece of metal and flipped it in my hand. "I don't really know.."

I thought of a moment, then finally said: "How about...a sculpture...?"

"Of metal? That sounds interesting," I said honestly. But I would have no idea how to make it. I've never done art really with metal, more like big things... motorcycles for example..

I nodded. "Yeah...I mean I've done sculptures before...with clay I mean, and I thought making a sculpture with metal would be cool, or we could do something else, I mean, Your the one teaching here." I smiled slightly.

I chuckled weakly. "A sculpture it is," I said and looked at her. "Your designing it, and I'll help you build it."

I nodded. "Alrighty.." I said, then looked at him. "Do you have a piece of paper..or a sketch pad I could use to draw a design on there?"

I nodded and grabbed my bag. I reached into the front pocket and pulled out a tattered red notebook. I bit my lip as I flipped through it. Each page was filled with empty dreams. I finally turned to an empty page with smudged lead marks on it. I handed it to Audrey with a pencil.

I took the notebook and pencil with a small smile. "Thanks.." I said, then pulled a chair over by the table and sat down. I pulled my hair back into a pony tail and stared at the paper for a bit, then started to sketch lightly on the paper.

I walked over to Audrey and stood behind her. I watched over her shoulder.

I kept on lightly sketching, then erasing, then back to sketching. I darkened the lines to see it better, then put the pencil down. "...Done...". I said, blinking. It was some kind of abstract sculpture, twisting around like a tornado with a flower at the end. "...It was the first thing that came to my mind."

I took the picture and studied it for a few minutes. I could teach her how to do this. I tilted my head and developed a plan to elaborate from. I nodded then handed Audrey back the notebook. I walked over to the metal scrap yard and took out a long sheet of metal. I set it down and pursued my lips together. I looked at Audrey. "Ready?" I said.

I smiled and started to teach her how to make her sculpture.

I kept instructing her, pointing at certain areas of the sheet of metal

I laughed and took her hands away from the metal. "You did it wrong, you have have to do it here," I said and kept explaining.

I laughed. "Well sorry, but I'm just a beginner." I said, then kept on listening.

I chuckled and kept instructing her till it started to look something like her image.

I do what he says, then smile at the sculpture. Its actually starting to look like it....
