Does anyone know the format to write a screenplay? Cause i had to write one for my english class and it is due tomorrow, but do you think my stupid teacher would tell us how to? Noo of course not.

I think it's something like this:

Character 1: Hey, Character 2, what's up?
Character 2: I have something to tell you.
Character 1: Should we go somewhere else?
Character 2: Yes.
The two characters go somewhere private
Character 1: So what did you want to tell me?

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the basic format.
