Kenzie's Bunk

I walk in and set my stuff down. I see Micheal walking over so I put my stuff on my bed. "Hey."

"Let's go to the lake."

I walk in and see a guitar sitting on a bunk across the room. I walk over to it and grab it.

I walk back up to my bunk and sit down with the guitar. I take it out of the case and then start playing it.

I walk in with Bella and say, "Hey Kenzie."

I see the new guitar and say, "Hey sweet..." I look at it enviously and look back at Kenzie.

I smile and put the guitar back into it's case. "Yeah, I grabbed it for you." I give Micheal the guitar.

I look up and take the guitar. I say quickly, "I'll be right back. I've got to go do something quickly." I kiss Bella and then run out.

I run back in after hiding the ring and necklace in my jacket pocket.

I smile as my hand brushes the necklace in my pocket.

I start to look down at the pocket but quickly catch myself as my head starts to lower. I blush a bit.

I blush a deeper red and start to look down again but say, "Nothing..." not completely lying to her.

I bite my lip as I think about the necklace and ring.

I groan as the thought of giving her the ring and placing the necklace around her neck crosses my mind.

I smile and say nothing as I pull my hand out of my pocket with the ring and necklace enclosed in my hand.

I see the concerned look on Bella's face and I stop. I bite my lip again and say, "I.....I just want......" I sigh as I drop the ring into my other hand slow enough for her to see it before closing my hand over it again.

I look deep into her eyes but still don't understand all of what she is truely about. (metaphorically) I smile and say, "I have something else first." I pull the necklace out of my hand and wrap it around Bella's neck.

I contemplate the ring and then think of how to give it to her. I reach out for her left hand and hold it gently.
