I walk into my cabin, seeing everyone in there talking to each other and realized just how shy I was. I walked in with my bag and picked an empty bunk in the corner.

While talking to someone from my bunk, I see a new girl come in. I got happy for there's new sibling to meet. "Hi." I said to the girl. "I'm Madelyn, you can call me Maddie, I'm you half sibling." I smiled.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Jamie." I replied, a bit shy.

I smiled. "I'm happy to meet you." I said noticing her shyness. "It's alright, don't be shy, if you have problems or anything you can always ask me. I'd be happy to help out."

"Thanx." I replied. A load of shyness suddenly seemed to lift off my shoulders. I felt like I was at home for the first time.
"So what's your favorite activity?" I asked, wanting to get to know her better.

"Me? Reading, building stuff, planning." I chuckled because I know she likes doing those stuff too. "Swimming, cooking, I'm just a typical daughter of our mom. How about you?" I asked.

"Same" I said, smiling because I realized we had a lot in common.

"Nice." I smiled. "So how did you get to camp?" I asked.

" Well, me, my step mom, and my dad were going to a beach that we visit every summer, but before we got there we were visited by my friend Sam. He told us we were being chased and came inside with us. Before we got he a monster attacked us. My step-mom and dad didn't.... didn't survive. I had to run through a forest then up the hill." I replied, memories of my dad still going through my head.

I nodded. "I guess most demigods stories are same. But you're lucky because your dad and step mom loves you." I smiled. "Unlike mine, I ran away from home when I was 9. I was found by a satyr then I never left camp after that. It's been 8 years since I saw the outside world."
"Maddie, you here?"
"Yah, I'm here." I said. Isabelle came in dripping wet. "Hun, why are you wet?"
"Don't ask, dear. Uncontrollable powers of Stella." I said. I saw a new face in Athena cabin. "All of my clothes are wet."
"Oh sorry, Jamie, this is Isabelle, she's a daughter of Aphrodite, and Isabelle our new sibling Jamie." I smiled. "Don't worry she's nicer than you thought. Coz you know Aphrodite kids."
"Hi!" I smiled. "Nice to meet you." I hug myself and start to shiver.
I toss Isabelle a towel and a shirt.
"Cover me." I said.
I grab my blanket and cover Isabelle.
After a while of changing. "I'm done." I twist the towel in my hair. "So, where were we? Oh yes, Hi Jamie!" I sat at the edge of Maddie's bed.
"We were talking about how she got here."
"Gah...I'm going to share mine, I just ran away last year. I've been abuse by my step mom, she locks me inside the cupboard, and my dad doesn't know. That's why I hate my dad, coz he doesn't believe me."

"That isn't very nice, but I don't think you should blame your dad for not knowing." I said.

"My dad doesn't want me, ever since I was a kid, he doesn't mind me a lot, I felt out cast. He...I don't know, he always tells me my mom is so perfect, and until now I think he's depress, but he hates me, he never stood up for me. He never loved me anyway. He was planning to send me to boarding school before just to get rid of me, my step mom was the one who suggested that's why I ran away."

"That makes sense. My step-mom was pretty ok. My dad loved me, but didn't understand me most of the time." I said, still thinking about them.

"I think I'll explore the camp a little. It was nice meeting you guys." I said, in hast. I wanted to go somewhere I could think and I knew just the place. So I grabbed my guitar case that was lying on my bed. Most daughters of Athena wouldn't play music, but I knew everything about it. I walked out with it in my hand.

"Alrighty then." I smiled. "Have fun exploring."
"Bye!" I said. "I'm going back to my cabin, thanks for the shirt." I left.
