I smile "so how'd you get that scar?" I ask then think 'probably not the best question' I sit down next to him

i rub my scar, i start having flashbacks. in my flashbacks all i could see were arrows flying at me. "i......uh, i was being chased by all these people and monster when i was about 13, and when i thought i was safe about 15 girls all dressed the same all shot arrows at me at the same time, two hit my neck in the same spot." i say revealing my scar.

"oh thats bad." i tell him sadly. I roll up my sleeve and show him my x scars. I point the the older one and say "my mom used to drink she used to hit me. she threw glass at me one night and i ran away, then i found myself here." i frown remembering the night, then i point to the newer one and say "i fell asleep in a tree then fell out. My knife cut across the scar my mom gave me."

I make a grunting sound in the back of my throat "what ever." I pull my knees up to my chest suddenly feeling really sad.

I nod "sorry." then I say "I hate that woman. I hate her. I hate her so much." my eyes start feeling hot with mad tears and I squeeze them shut.

I wipe my eyes on my sleeve then I lean my head on my knees to keep from showing that I had started crying.
