| I see her play the flute, and I sigh, wishing I knew what it sounded like. Then, I heard a distant, soft, almost inaudible sound. I grew louder, and louder, and I thought I was going crazy. I felt the side of my head, and ears, real ears were there. I heard the flute, so sweet, and pure, and I was just amazed. I thought, oh my gods, I can hear. |
