Life Before CHB*: Grace didn't have any idea who her mother was except for the few hints her father had told her. She always asked him what she looked like, but he barely ever gave in. Her father worked at a flower shop and was very kind and gentle. Grace was going to work there in a few years, but before this could happen a terrible monster ate her father. Grace ran for her life and found a few friends, along with a satyr, that helped her get to Camp Half-blood.
