I pull Vi in. "Who wants to tell her?"

"Zack stabbed himself and might be dying."

I grab a blueprint from my belt and start drawing on it. "Well, we'll need to find some way to clot the blood first so he doesn't just bleed to death. If it hit an organ, I don't think we can do anything about that. If we had some dead person who wanted to donate their organs, which I doubt would work, than we could do that, but I doubt we have any. Once the blood is clotted, we can pull the knife out, but then I don't know how we'll fix up the big gash." I say while writing/drawing.

"I'm not an expert on living things. I do well with inanimate machines which can be programmed, but living things........well, I can get one idea, but not much more. If he dies, it was his time to go to wherever."

I start sobbing.
I rush over to Vi and hug her. "It's ok.'I whisper.
"Should we go to the infirmary then?"

I raise an eyebrow. "Um.......I don't think she would just know. An empathy link would have killed her, and I doubt any other connection can tell each other what happens."

"If that was the case I would have known more about Nicole in the last month since I saw her. I really just don't understand, you just can't tell if someone dies if no one tells you unless you have an empathy link, and as far as I know they didn't because Violet isn't dead yet."

I walk out behind her still sobbing.
I run out after them.
I sigh.

I walked in and left a box of cupcake with a note that says "Merry Christmas, Al. Have a good year ahead. With love as always, your sister Isabelle. P.S. don't worry the cupcakes taste on what you crave most. Enjoy!" Though I'm not that close to her (Al) and I haven't talked to her too but hey, its what I do every year. Bake some cookies and cupcakes for friends and siblings. Then I left.
