Mason's Bunk

Subject: Mason's Bunk 8/18/2011, 8:17 pm

I ran in and hopped onto my bed. I pulled out my knives and sharpened them. I got myself a date, I sang in my head. Friday night at eight. I stopped myself in my mind. Friday afternoon at 3. I continued. I changed my clothes, into a camp wifebeater and some jean shorts. Then I went out to find Hanna.

I entered and changed into black basketball shorts and a camp shirt. Then, a name whispered in my mind. Hanna. Holy crap! I need to find her!I ran out of my bunk as fast as I could.

I walk in and stop in front of a mirror by my bed. "Hey, gorgeus." I wink to myself. I change into my pajamas (my underwear, don't hate) and lie in my bed with a book on space and time, a book I'd started a day before and was almost done with. I feel my self drifting off and go to sleep.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$I wake up a while later, put on a shirt and jeans and leave again.

I entered, undressed, and flopped on my bed. I soon drifted off to the sound of my cabin mates snoring.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$I wake up, thow on some skinny jeans and a Knicks jersey with my blue Jordans then leave.

I entered my cabin and looked around. The tables were full of rough sketches and mathematical equations. I set my new book down by my bed and took off my shoes. My socks cushioned the warm floor of my cabin as I walked towards a table. I saw a name on a sheet of papyrus and smoothed the stationary out so that the name was more illigible. The name said Annabeth and was followed by a Delta. The notes were amazing! They were models for wings, by the looks of it. I rolled the papyrus up and stuck it in my back pocket. I went over to one of my drawers and started to dig for my laptop.

I walk up to the Athena Cabin's door and knock on it. ''Hiya is mason here?'' i asked one of the Athena kid's.

I jumped when I heard Hadrian's voice. "What the---Oh. Hey, Hadrian, over here." I waved him over. I fished out my laptop and turned it on. I went to Google and typed in "Delta". I scrolled down to the topic "The Mark of Daedalus" and clicked on it. "Holy crap...." I mumbled.

My gray eyes lit up as I looked up at Hadrian. "My sister..." I started, a maniacal smile growing wickedly on my face. "She...she's a genius! Look!" I held out the papyrus scroll to him and opened it. "She learned from Daedalus herself! I wanna meet her someday...When she returns."

I looked out of my cabin window dreamily. "Jupiter." I said simply, lost in ideas.

I nodded. "Yep. On a quest, y'know? saving the world and all. I think there's a picture somewhere...." I looked over to Mitchel's bunk. "Ah, here." I grabbed the frame that held the picture of Annabeth, Percy, Thalia, Nico, Tyson, Grover, and Juniper. "She's the blonde." I said.

I smiled.''Nice.. do you think you can fight again? i heard of a miniwar going on in the forest.. wanna go bash some skulls?'' he asked calmly.

I stared at him when he said "bashing skulls" so nonchalantly. Though he was a child of Ares, after all. I shrugged. "Sure. I could go for some skull bashing. Or something at least a little more legal."

"Sure, sure. I needa change anyway, so I'll stop by the bathroom and be on my way, okay?" I said, gathering my stuff and putting on my shoes.

I walk out of the Cabin and walk towards the ares cabin.

I entered and sat in the side of my bunk. How the heck did my life turn so drastically? I lay down and rested my head on the pillow. Soon, I fell asleep. I woke up with one knife in my pit and the other at my neck. My hair, I could tell, was a horror movie by itself. Gods, if I did died in my sleep, it would make anyone scream. I moved my knives and sat up to stretch. I headed to the messhall for some grub.
