His sword hit me. If it wasn't for the armor i had on, i would've been shishcabob. I was hurt but it wasn't enough to slow me down. I faked slashing at his stomach and pushed him away.

I backed up ready for an attack while catching his breath.

I jumped to avoid the blade. I landed on the top of the blade slamming it to the ground and held my sword to his throat.

ooc: I'm pretty sure you can't say he got that from his father.

That younger kid is much too aggressive... Carter thought to himself. He has not had proper training. Even though he hadn't had that much training himself, Carter still knew a lot of technique from back home.

Carter looked around. Well that was kind of boring... he thought to himself. He looked down at his ring, trying not to feel like a complete outcast.

Carter looked up. "Okay," he replied, instantly sizing the other kid up. He was much taller than Carter was, but that didn't matter. He was used to it. "I just need to get a practice sword."
