Richard Riordan is planning on writing a Norse book series after Kane Chronicles and Heroes of Olympus are done. Any thoughts?

Most of us already know that. Why do you call him Richard? o.o Most of us just call him Rick, nothing more. I'm just hoping that it'll be better than The Heroes Of Olympus. Much better. I honestly, though, think he should stop writing for a while...I mean..he's ruining himself.

That seems amazing! Where'd you find that out?
I'm not too familiar with Norse Mythology. I'd love to learn more about it.

I didnt know about this. But I'd like to see how he'll right this series, so I'll be looking forward to it.

If he's going to do every polytheistic religion, rick has a long road ahead if himself. XD

I knew about this and...yeah. If it's like the Kayne chronicles I won't mind, but NO MORE HEROES OF OLYMPUS. Good grief.

My Lord....

I don't know how this will play out, but I really don't think I'll be interested. At the current quality of some of his newer books (TLH, anybody?) I don't think this one will be very nice.

Even thought Kane Chronicles isn't bad, Riordan should stop writing for a time

HE NEEDS TO STOP FOR A WHILE. I'm righting a book right now, called "The Hammer of Fate" with Norse mythology. Almost finished with it, and soon giving it to my newly found editor! HE needs to give some other authors a chance with mythology. What's next? Chinese?

fighter, You could probably tell your editor the problem with him writing a Norse books to.

But I feel like Rick should just stick with greek and roman and egytion. he's starting to turn into the kind of author that thinks becuz a series of books he writes is good that people are gonna want more. (if that makes sence? I did in my head)

^^ I agree
I won't be reading the Norse ones either
I never bothered reading TLH/SoN or Kane Chronicles(I tried reading Red Pyramid....didn't work)
Rick just needs to give it a rest
you already have 3 series, do you really need anymore
plus, since PJO, his other books kinda pale in comparison

What makes you say that the Heroes of Olympus is bad? I've quite enjoyed them so far. (I'm on The Son of Neptune)

/cough, bumping old topics is not good, cough

Maybe it's the quality of the new characters that have put people off (it's the main reason for many people, anyway).

Opinions are opinions. I don't like it much because there's waaaaaaaaay too much detail, he's changed his original characters, and the new ones barely have any good substance. Just because one person likes Heroes of Olympus, doesn't mean the next person will. I mean...I, honestly, think it stinks to high heavens. But, obviously, you don't. Meh, it's all about opinions.

Oh no.

Stop right up! Hear about how Billy defeats Ymir and sends the world in flames by Surtur!

Rick......please just stay with what you have. You're gambling now with the new series already. Honestly, TLH was......um. All I have to say. Kane Chronicles is good, but I don't want to read Asgard's Champions. Or whatever it will be called. If this goes on, I won't be surprised to find Native American and Indian and Aztec/Incan/Mayan series coming.
