How is Zeyrr's power a power, exactly?

It's not just music. His music can actually change emotions, considering that the person can actually have the emotion. Such as, if someone's feeling they're about to get killed, and get very depressed, as long as that's not their natural emotion, he can change it to make them feel like they can still fight. Along with say, putting his own energy into the music to make people who are tired a bit more energized, at the cost of his own energy, of course. If that seems a bit strange, you can say so.

If people want to, can they resist the music? How many times a day would you say he could use this power?

People are able to resist the music, but that backfires at Zeyrr, and the energy he gives up wouldn't go back to him. Also, he can use the music as long as he still has energy, so if he takes a couple of hours to get it back, then he has it back in a couple of hours. But, as we all know, it can take more than just a couple hours to recover from fatigue. Eheheh.
