I walk in and sigh. I miss my dad, however awkward he is.

I burrow down into bed, only after quickly brushing my teeth and throwing on my lavender nightgown-pajama thingy. Almost immediately I fall asleep.

I had jumped out of bed to say night to Bruce, and NOW I sleep after yelling "NIGHT!" To anyone who's in Athena cabin at the moment.

I walk in, slip into my pj's and fall asleep as soon as my head touches the pillow.

I wake up, my head feeling uncomfortably light. I stand up and clutch the bedpost, nearly keeling over. I take a few deep breaths, and leave. I quickly come back, realizing I haven't changed out of yesterday's clothes. I keep my orange CHB t-shirt on, change my jeans, slip on my brown Uggs, and throw on my brown aviator jacket. It's cold outside.

I change into my pajamas, brush my teeth, and go to sleep.

Hanson was stretched out on Alice's bed, staring at the ceiling.
"Hanson! Guess who I brought!" Alice sang as she bounded in with Nix.
Hanson bolted up.

Nix followed her warily. "Uh.Hi." She said, twitching a bit. She looked around, as if nervously.

Hanson stared at Nix, mouth falling open. "Hi." He whispered, eyes wide.
Alice flashed a smile at them both and chirped, "I'll be outside if you need me." and she skipped out.

Nix waved, letting her eyes drop onto her shoes. Her blonde hair was still short, as she then let her hair fiddle around with it.

"Ah... Why did you cut your hair? I mean, it's not that I don't like it, I was just wondering, because your hair used to be easy to..." Hanson trailed off. He didn't want to continue that last sentence. He didn't know how this Nix would take it.

"You hate it." Nix said, trying to take a step backward, but all she did was fall on her butt. She blinked, clearly confused.

Hanson leaped out of bed and was making his way to Nix to pick her up, but remembered her current state and simply stood maybe two feet or so away from her and offered her his hand, only if she wanted it.

Nix took his hand, wobbly standing up. She looked fragile, like a china doll. Her hazel eyes were wide, and with mistrust. She looked uncertain. "I..Hazel..I mean I think..hate..I mean .." She stumbled over her words.

Hanson's heart nearly burst with joy when she grasped his hand. He pulled her up gently. "Why don't you sit down? Then you can tell me what ever you want." He suggested softly, leading her to the bed.

Nix sat down, but she kept on fidgeting, not realizing it.

"Are you...okay?" He asked, worried. He fought the urge to cover her hand with hers, to comfort her, to stop the fidgeting.

Nix nodded. "I'm okay." She said the words she told everyone. "I'm okay." She repeated, her hazel eyes focused onto the wall. It seemed as she was watching a whole another movie that wasn't present.

Hanson knew Nix better than she obviously thought. He very tentatively, very deliberately put an arm around her shoulders, ready to yank it back if she disapproved. It was like that first day again, when he couldn't touch her for fear of her panic.

Nix didn't even notice. She didn't even respond anymore. She kept on staring at the wall.

"Nix?" He asked, panicking himself. "Nix, honey, you there?" He asked, moving his hand to her hair, trying to ruffle it like she had done once to him.

Nix still didn't respond.

Hanson was seriously freaking now. "Nix! Nix, please talk to me, do something, Nix?" He pleaded, taking her by the shoulders.

Nix blinked. "Oh hi Hanson." She said, just watching the wall still.
