Caterina, or as she liked to be called, Kat, opened the door and stepped inside the cabin known as Demeter cabin. She had a single olive green suitcase with her that rolled lazily behind her and the door closed as her suitcase knocked agaisnt it. Kat sniffed the air non chalontly and smiled peacefully to herself, it reminded her of springtime back on the farm, before her father was brutally murdered by a beast... NO she told herself, shaking all thoughts of that day out of her head, she wouldn't allow it to dampen her mood.

Kat looked around the room her eyes finally stopping on an empty bed which she procceeded to make her way over to, the blankets on her bed had pictures of flowers and vines trailed aroud the sides, Kat ran her hand over the soft fabric of the pillow as she sat on the bed, cross legged, her suitcase standing idaly by on the floor. Her pillow had a picture of her favourite flower sown on it, the midnight rose. It looked like a normal opened rose but was a dark blue, almost midnight blue in colour and the stem a dull but tasteful green. She smiled to herself as she looked down, studying the pillow "so this is my new home huh..." she said mainly to herself, not expecting anybody in particular to reply.

I stumble in, everything a blur. I look back down at the gash on my abs and on my shirt, then collapse on some random persons bunk. I lay there and curl up. I keep whispering to myself "It's all my fault, it's all my fault." I look at the girl in front of me and see a blur of blonde. I whisper "It's all my fault, it's all my fault" more as I black out.

Kat instinctively tucked her knees to her chest as a rather young boy collapsed on her bed, she gasped as she saw the wound on his chest as he curled up and heard his whisper. She would have said something but he passed out. Kat had medical experience when treating poisons and wounds on the farm. She stood up and let her instincts take over, by laying him on his back on the bed and searching around the test for any herbs that could help.

Kat found nothing but a watering can next to her bed "i'll help you" she whispered as she removed his shirt to get a better look at his wound, and dipped a clean cloth in the fresh water of the watering can and gently cleaned the gash across his abs then dried it with another clean cloth on her bedside.

Once she was finished and the wound was treated enough she sat down on the end of the bed and smiled softly down at the boy before picking up a book from her suitcase and started reading, waiting for the boy to awaken.

I slowly open my eyes to a see girl. As my vision starts to clear, I realize she's the flash of blonde I saw. I slowly get up, trying not to alert this girl to my awakening. I get up and, blushing her shirt slightly, get off the bed. So far, I don't think she see's me. I start walking, only to tip over a watering can. I cringe at the noise, and look back to see if the girl noticed.

at the noise of a water splashing onto the floor Kat averted her gaze from the book she had been foucused on and snapped her gaze towards the sound, expecting a monster of some sort, instead all she found was the boy she had helped looking over at her in a sort of i'm busted look (hope that doesn't count as powergaming, sorry if it does). She glanced down at his abs where the injury had currently been and found that it was mostly healed "a thankyou would have been nice" she muttered and playfully rolled her eyes as she left the book on the bed.

Standing up she ushered the boy away from the spill and started mopping up the water with the boys torn shirt, that was left on her dresser counter.

"oh, um... S-sorry" I start to stutter. "I mean, I...uhh...didn't want to distract you from your book. A-and I really am t-t-thankful for your helping me..." I look down in awkward silence. I finally look up to see if she's mad at me.

Kat laughed cheerfully at the boys attempt at an appology "no need to be nervous kid, i was joking" she finished cleaning the water spill and chucked the torn shirt in a bin under her bed then stood and offered out her hand "i'm Caterina but call me Kat" she greeted smiling a friendly smile down at him.

I regain my cool composure. "Ian" I say, shaking her hand. "Listen, I really mean it. Thanks for helping me, I might not have made it, if..." I shudder "So yeah. Thanks" I look around, and decide that this girl, Kat, is not my enemy. "So who you the daughter of? Greek god/goddess, I mean."

Kat shrugged and brushed a stray peice of hair behind her ear "I guess so" she mused aloud "I was claimed by Demeter a little while ago" she admitted and sat back down on the bed, placing the book on her soft pillow "what about yourself?"

kat looked at him curiously before deciding to ask "so what happened anyway? I mean sorry if i'm prying but i'm just curious is all" she smiled sheepishly and tilted her head to the side.

"Me? I'm the son of Acheron. I want pain, or no pain, I gots it for you. Ans as to what happened, I was walking down the side of the Southern forest when-" I stop. My eyes grow glassy and mist over. "It's all my fault" I whisper, I chant "It's all my fault, it's all my fault" My voice start to rise in volume, and I start to involuntarily take away some of other people pain, applying it to myself. I kneel down and bend over, hugging the scar that remains from my little battle. I continue chanting "It's all my fault, it's all my fault."

Kat looked down at him worriedly and crouched down "Ian, whats wrong" when she saw his glassy eyes she had no idea what to do "it's not your fault Ian, it's not your fault" she didn't know what else to say, by bow she was really worried, but she felt that she couldn't leave him here by himself and gently placed her hand on his shoulder and shook him "Hey Ian snap out of it buddy, please snap out of it"

I continue to chant for ,like, 10 more minutes then suddently snap out of it. I look up and Kat and say "how old are you?" Then I look at myself on the floor, and ask "and how the heck did I get down here?" I get up, and reach out my hand to help Kat up.

She was seriously confused and worried about this boy but took his hand and stood up, just in case of another chanting thing she sat him down on the bed and sat beside him "i'm 16... and do you remember what just happened, you faded out and kept chanting 'it's all my fault' over and over, I was really worried about you" she admitted, looking at him with concerned eyes.

I look at her with a strange and confused look. "are you okay? I mean, that never happened. Could you have had audio and visual hallucinations?" I look her over thoroughly and wonder about her. I worry that she may have been confused or something.

Kat shook her head "well if that happened, it was a first for me" She thought back to when he first came over on her bed "you were saying its all my fault as well when you first came in as well" she explained, did this boy just have a mind blank, she was sure of what she saw, but this boy seemed certain that it didn't happen, so either he had memory blank or she was going crazy, the second option didn't seem all that crazy, perhaps what had happened over the last couple of days was all a dream. She piunched her arm to check "oww" she muttered and rubbed her arm, guess it wasn't a dream after all...

"When I came in? When I came in...hmm, I don't remember. I just woke up here. I have no idea what happened before...before...be...b..." I shake my head violently. I lay down just in time to see her punch herswlve."why?..." I think about it all some and lay down and massage my temples. "hey, you want a massage?" I randomly ask.

Kat looked down at him and shrugged "sure I guess" she didn't want to refuse and seem rude, and she had been awfully tensed and stressed these past couple of days. Kat glanced at him before turning so her back was facing him "but really, you don't remember anything?" she should expect the weird now that she was here and decided to keep an eye on him just incase, Mabey all children of his father blanked out.

I sit up and start massaging her shoulders. "nope, basically I remember waking up, then the water pot incident, then talking for a bit, then crouching on the floor. Nothing on between. I do.t remember any of what you said happened." As I finish talking, I slowly move down her back. "tell me when it feels right" I mention to her.

I look up continueing the massage. I coldly glance at the person who came in. "she might be" I say. Nodding at Kat.

Kat was just beginning to feel relaxed when someone burst in, she snapped her attention to them and nodded "I guess so, but it depends on the severity of the injured, what happened?" Kat hoped it wouldnt be to bad and she hoped she could be of some help.

After a while, the kid doesn't answer. "Whats the answer?!?! Someone needs help! Don't stand there gawking!" I shout in his face. I get up and walk to him at a moderate pace.
