I scream as I see Kataro dying there. The scream doesn't stop, not once as I pounce at the little boy.
I stare at Bruce as if he's slapped me. How could he? I start yelling unintelligibly, but I'm frozen.

I ducked low. Then I got up. I was enraged now. "GODDAMIT WOMAN WILL YOU LISTEN! I WAS UNDERCOVER THIS WHOLE TIME! I DIDN'T BETRAY YOU! I WAS TRYING TO GET CLOSE TO OUR ENEMY AND I HAVE!" I yelled. "I AM SORRY I DIDN'T COME TO YOUR EARLIER TO TELL YOU I WAS BLUFFING BUT YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME, I DIDN'T MEAN FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!"

I was closing on Bruce. I galloped past him and then I threw one of my ninja stars at Krystal. It instantly erupted into the flames as soon as it hit the ground. My cape was blowing like a flag in a wind.

I reach Kataro, my eyes waterfalls. I'm still screaming bloody murder as I try dragging him to the infirmary.

I look at the girl (Belle) as she screams. I walk over, polearm in hand. "Oh I'll help you. I'll help you by ending his life. You hate him right? Everyone will win. My father will get a new soul to keep and you will get to get rid of someone you hate. If you wish,.." I move the polearm forward, "You may do the honors.."

My heart stops as the bolts hit me again.

I couldn't see. I was starting to panic. There was so much going on and I couldn't see any of it. I felt too helpless. I heard a voice "DON'T YOU TOUCH HIM!!" I cried. I tried to feel for Kataro to get him to help.

I came in and gasped. I sprinted towards Krystal. "You bloody cut it out!" I cried.

Kahlan made a U-turn and galloped back. Just as Bruce was going to collapse to the ground she locked her legs in pedal thingy and grabbed Bruce, leaning to the left. She pulled him up onto the horse and forced the horse to go faster. "HIYA! HIYA!" Soon she left the beach.
