I walk slightly out the door. "Nix, if you didn't... um... want me to kiss you, I-- You could have told me... I wouldn't push you." I mumble, not daring to look back at her.

I look at Nix and that other kid. I look at Noonian and raise an eyebrow. Something was up

I just couldnt help myself, the need to eavesdrop was just too great and I had the feeling i was just about to come into some important info. Or just some good old fashioned tasty gossip. One or the other. I slipped behind the door and began to spy again. I hoped my sinister aura didnt give away my position...

Nix walked out with him, feeling ashamed. "I really like you." She said softly, her eyes staring at his chin. "It's just..You're too good for me. I'd like to be more..it's just.." She felt tears brim in her eyes, but she blinked them away, faltering. She took a big breath, trying to gather her mental strength. This was her philosophy. Nothing gold can stay.

I heard her conversation and felt ashamed of myself. What was wrong with me? How could I be so selfish? "I'm sorry Nix," I mutter and place the neckless on her bunk and leave

Nix felt her cheeks burn, wrapping her arms around him. She liked hugging him. "No." She answered honestly.

Nix blushed all over again, when Hanson stared at her. She felt..vulnerable. It was a feeling she strongly disliked, but with him, it was more safe to her. "Well, my opinion is that you're the best." She leaned forward, her lips brushing against his.
