Kataro's Bunk

I run over to my bunk and start fixing up my wound. I decide it's good enough after a few minutes. I take out metal and some tools. I make myself a black mechanical hand made out of Celestial Bronze with circles with blue lights. I made it so it can transform into different tools and a dagger, just in case. If you get punched by this thing, you will definitely be knocked out. I attach it to my arm and make sure my brain allows it to move. I also add in a fire enhancement. It will help me control my fire powers. It is perfect. I take some pain relievers and ambrosia and run over to the arena.

I come back and go to sleep. I'm going to need rest to save Belle.

I wake up with a determined face on. I had nightmares and dreams all night. I slide my armor on and grab my sword. I run over to the stables.

I jump on to my bed and start to cry. I'm such an idiot. I ruined everything.

I walk over to my bunk, reach in my bag, and grab a small cube. "Well, here it is."

I roll my eyes. "I'm only an Athena-child. I don't understand the workings of Hephaestus-child contraptions."

"Kataro?" Alice tip toed into his bunk. She saw him crying and her eyes went wide. She sat down on the edge of his bed. "I'm so sorry..."

"Ugh. I'm sorry.. I just.." I take a deep breath and change the subject. "Why are you back with Finnick?"

Alice's cheeks burned. "Because..." She mumbled the rest too low to understand.

Alice looked away. "Because he loves me." She whispered, fumbling with her fingers.

Alice's chin jerked up. "Why not? I do love Finnick..." She muttered.

I sit up now, not breaking the eye contact. "Are you sure?"

"Yes..." She trailed off. Kataro wouldn't be able to force the rest out of her.
