Raiden walked up to the entrance of the Hermes cabin. Not really caring, he loudly swung the door open and spotted a familiar disheveled mop of dirty blonde hair sticking out of the bed sheets.

Viper woke up suddenly at the loud thud of oak slamming onto oak. He sat up straight with a startled expression on his face. "Who the Hades is-" He cut himself off once he fixated on the intruder. Squinting his eyes in disbelief and wanting to get a better look, he queried, "R-raiden?"

Rai smirked when his long lost friend and ally recognized him. "Been a while Viper. Sorry for waking you, by the way. Well, not really." He rambled as he walked closer to Viper and leaned on the wall.

"Y-you're alive." He stuttered in skepticism.

He faked a hurt expression. "C'mon Viper, you should know be my know. Takes a lot more to take me down than a stupid cato." He was too lazy to say the whole, proper name.

"Well seeing as they're so extremely lethal that they can cause trouble for even demi-titans and gods, I do have reasonable doubts." Viper managed to spout. "When did you get here?"

"Came back from hangin' 'round the old man just yesterday. He got locked up again. Five years this time, the idiot." He snickered as he looked around the cabin. "So I came back."

Viper nodded. "Well, glad to see you back, and in the flesh." He chuckled.

Rai rolled his eyes. "Yeah. Well, I'll let you go back to sleep. Where's Isabelle? I need to talk to her about something."

"Beats me. Last time I was with her, was at the beach and she was going on about joining 'Stella's crew' or what not. I think her psychosis might be getting worse." He said dishearteningly.

He laughed. One could hear a tinge of insanity in it. "She was always messed up in the head anyway." He started striding back to the cabin doors. "I'll catch you later." He said bluntly as he left.

Viper sighed, not knowing what to make of the encounter. Glad to see him here at least. Alec will be overjoyed. He laid back down on his bed, deciding to nap again.

Viper woke up, stretching lazily across his bed sheets. He yawned as he sat at the edge of his bunk. Slipping into his Converse, he stood up and rotated his shoulders habitually to loosen the muscle. Wonder what I should do today... er, tonight. He noticed on his clock it said a bit passed eight p.m. Grabbing his leather jacket, he headed out the door.

Viper waltzed back in, yawning drowsily. He went to his bunk and sat at the edge of it. He let himself fall back onto the springy mattress, sighing. He closed his heavy eyes a moment but opened them a moment after. He realized he hadn't fed Jade in a while. Viper wondered where the snake went.

He sat back up, looking around his cabin. "Jade?" He called out in the vacant structure. A familar hiss echoed from under him. He knelt down to look under his bed, and sure enough, she was there, giving him a famished gaze, a wanting gaze, a carnal gaze. She then gave a more aggressive hiss, baring out her fangs. "Jade, what's gotten into y-" He was cut off by her springing at him and gouging out and eating Viper's left eye.

"Gah! You lousy python! What the Hades?" He yelled out as he covered his injured eye socket and staggered back, falling on his bum. He looked hastily with his other working eye under the bed, but the snake wasn't there. Looking around, he stood up weakly. With his back to it, Jade sprung out from behind Viper's bedside table and started constricting him.

Five minutes later.

Viper was full of bite marks and patterns left from Jade wrapping around him. Blood poured through the fang marks left in several places in him. He was obviously unconscious, if not near dead. Jade had consumed his other eye and bitten through his chest and slithered through his rib cage, nibbling his heart. Once it was all gone, Jade slithered out of the cabin content, leaving the mutilated corpse.
