Powers: After really hard concentration can manipulate fire (no she cannot summon fire) about three times a day without falling asleep (although once in a while she'll actually fall asleep whilst doing so) and she can make (as big as a one storey house with lot's of concentration) shapes, (body height) shields and she can cause a small explosion (like a small pop of an explosion) with it.
Flaws: Stubborn, secretive, compulsive liar, never looks anyone in the eye, her powers take a lot out of her (get's drowsy and therefore grumpy after use), often says the wrong thing at the wrong time, competitive, manipulative, cunning (although I suppose that could also be a good thing...), snores (in the notes as well)
Life before CHB: Orphaned at birth, Ilithyia was put into a care home where she had to be obediant or she would be beaten. At the age of six, she managed to run away from the opressive establishment and made her way around Europe. She became a good liar and often managed to get scraps of food for free or after working for an afternoon as she got older. She learned to speak Spanish after staying in the country for three years and sometimes still does speak the language. She smuggled herself aboard a cruise ship and was almost caught when the ship docked in Boston. Urged by some peculiar dreams, she found CHB.
RP Example: Ilithyia bit her lip as she watched the moon's reflection on the calm, ripping waters of the lake. Ilithyia sighed as she reached forward and dipped her cotton gloved hands in the water, causing the fabic to cling to her skin. She stood, watching still as she ripples of the water distorted the moon. She looked up and saw the twinkling stars and the unbroken moon looking back at her. "Is this all there is? A simple night sky full of stars and a lone girl?" she asked herself. "What a disappointment."
Notes: Ilithyia resents the gods for the life she'd led before CHB. She dresses as nicely as possible and constantly tries to isolate herself 'for the safety of the normalites'. She can be random at times and is quite smart. She reads quite a lot and enjoys reading fantasy. She snores!

I don't think we allow Thanatos kids to manipulate shadows. Also, if you can tell how a person will die that means whatever she sees may not be set to happen-- things change, she's not an oracle.

To manipulate shadows? Kuk or Hoth works. (They're the Egyptian and Norse god of darkness respectively.) They just can't tell how a person dies or drain life (not that any demigod can, :/).

Life Before CHB*: Lix was waited on hand and foot from a very young age. Her father was a professor at an elite boarding school for rich kids and so she lived at the school with him. However, after seeing how selfish his daughter grew to be around the age of six, he had her allowances cut, limited the amount of things she could ask for and kept her under a close watch. Currently living in New York, she cut her hair to show how she disliked her father's control over her life. She still maintains a choppy hairstyle to this day to keep up the reminder. She went to a public high school after her father refused to let her into his boarding school. She ultimately lived by herself but a mortal boy called Caelan, whom she'd known since she was three years old, checked in on her from time to time. She had a crush on him since she was eleven years old. She was a cheerleader in both middle and high school. She was rescued from by a satyr and Caelan combined when an angry cyclops almost turned her into Monster Chow (sponsored by the Titans and garanteed to fill your demigod-hungry needs!). Caelan, not being a half-blood couldn't come to camp with her though, so promised to look after her apartment and explain to her father should the need arise.
RP Example*: I walked into my apartment, finding chinese food on the table. It was still warm from when Caelan must have come in and dropped it off. He did work in a chinese take-away place after all! I was disappointed by not seeing him though... I sat down and ate the food before it cooled down. Oh, God! It was delicious! Before I knew it, it was gone. I was still hungry. I got to my feet and wandered into the kitchen, finding my freezer. I took out my final pot of 'Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough' ice cream and sprinted to my sofa, almost tripping over my school bag in the process. I found the remote and flipped on the documentary channel. Perfect! A documentary about ancient Greek warfare. I don't know why but this kind of stuff really hit home. I pulled out some homework to do from my bag which I'd thrown beside the sofa when I came in and settled down into my sofa. After five minutes, I was stuck on a Spanish question... I know the answer, darn it! If I don't get this then my whole high school career is going down the tubes. And where was my Spanish text book? Oh no! Oh no no no! Oh, wait. I'm reading from it, I thought. The doorbell rang so I went to answer it, spoon in my mouth still from the ice cream. I opened the door and saw Caelan smiling at me. The spoon fell to the floor. What do I do! What do I do? "Uh... hi. Hi, Caelan. Hi."

Life Before CHB*: Vlad was raised on the streets whilst his mother worked as a barmaid at minimum wage. At the age of ten, he was arrested for theft from a major store and taken away from his mother. Vlad changed his surname from Jones to Shadow when he discovered his ablity to shadow travel after escaping a fight with a few 'ugly dudes' who were in fact monsters. He kept his life a mystery to all who met him, fearing getting too close to them. He only opens up to a certain type of person (nice, kind and consistently around) and they are hard to come by when you live off the streets and foster carers.
RP Example*: I ducked beneath my hooded coat and watched lazily as the rain fell. I missed my Mum. She used to tell me stories about the rain. I did notice that guy who walked funny go by again, peeking at me from underneath a baseball cap for the twenty-sixth millionth time today. I wasn't going anywhere, darn it. When he started walking over, I got weirded out. He looked around thirteen but no thirteen year old had a wispy beard like that! He stopped in front of me and I noticed little horns poking through under his hat. He was definitely not from England...

It weakens her a little if she attempts a headache. The headache cannot become a migraine because she cannot handle those. She feels the headache about two seconds later and it wares off in five minutes. She can handle close to a migrain, but, as I said, not a migraine.
Life Before CHB*: Laura was living the high life in Canada when she discovered her mother's secret. Her mother had been infertile. So how did she conceive Laura? Well, laura had a wild imagination and it ran away with her. She had come up with theory after theory until- she healed a papercut her best friend had gotten. Her best friend disownedher, calling her a freak. Laura didn't care. Laura did some research. And it was when she clicked on a link to a Greek website that she discovered that google is a dangerous thing indeed. She manages to fight it off by slamming and therefore breaking her laptop lid down.
RP Example*: I sat by myself. Again. Thank gods! I strummed away on my guitar. I hummed a few lyrics. It was just a song I'd heard... "Strawberry moon, it was always... Always about you... Now there's a man on the moon that we drink to... You brought out the worst in me... I bring the wolves out for you..."
