I laughed good-naturedly. "Uhm, Alex, I think I need to go now.Sorry. Maybe next time again. I need to have a bit of time with my pets.Bye." I told her.

Kat then stood up, already impatient. "Any ideas, smarta$$?"

Reid ignored Kat and walked up to the rocks covering the entrance. He ran his hand along, a little hurt by what Kat called him, even though he was used to being called that. "...Were gonna need some to let us out from the outside..."

Kat sighed, pulling on her short hair. "Great!" She said sarcastically.

"Not really." Reid protested in a annoyed tone, still running his hands along the rocks. Anger boiled up inside of him. Kat hates him and he is stuck in a cave. Bead of sweat ran down his forehead as he angrily punched the rocks. Blood seeped through his knuckles, but he didn't care.

Kat, feeling a rush of concern for him, automatically blurted out,"Are you okay?"

Reid held in his pain and nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay." He muttered, wiping the blood off his knuckles. "Not like you care though, right?" He added.

Kat kneeled down, studying his face. "I may not trust you as much, although I do forgive you. The thing that hurt me the most..never mind," Kat changed her mind to actually reveal why she was..well..so cruel about it.

"What hurt you? Come on, I was the one to blame for. Might as well tell me." Reid said, concern spreading across his face. He really wanted to know what he did wrong.

"I liked you.Had a crush. And it hurt me. Now I don't anymore," Kat said icily her last sentence, her voice slightly softening.

Reid was taken aback when she said that. She liked me? he thought, then suddenly felt guilty. He liked her too, but he knew that he would never admit it. Why? Because he was just like that. He was always private with certain thoughts, and this was one thought that he didn't want to share. "...I'm sorry I hurt you Kat. I really am. I..I just want to be friends." He told her sincerely, lying a bit on the last part.

Kat didn't seem to be fazed, but truly she felt stupid. Why did she admit such a thing? She stood up, walking over to the other side of the cave, sitting down, leaning against the cave wall again.

An awkward silence hung in the air. Reid drummed his blood stained fingers on his knee as he leaned his head back on the wall. "..Should we just yell for help until someone comes?" He suggested after a few moments of silence.

I walked in. When I noticed two people, I just walked on and went deeper inside the cave.

Reid shook his head. "Doubt it. Camp doesn't allow phones or any electronics, so why would they allow wireless?"
