Life Before CHB*: Guiyun lived with her father ,who was a sailor, for five years. She was put up for adoption when a ship crash killed her father. At the orphanage, Guiyun met a satyr who wanted to help, but Guiyun was adopted too soon by a family in New York. She felt out of place in her new family and ended up running away at the age of eight. She meraculously lived on the streets for the next eight years until she was found by a satyr and came to camp half blood.
