Powers(must relate to god parent; optional): VERY powerful water skills. Can control water and summon sea creatures. Also speak to sea creatures. Can hold breath for maximum of 15 min.
Life Before CHB*: Sara has never met her father. Her mother had always told her that her mother's boyfriend was her father. Sara never fell for that for one second. She knew she had a living, breathing father somewhere out there. Sara lived with her mom--until she died of a stroke. Her "father" was in jail, so Sara survived by preforming and begging. She was pretty much a normal 8th grader with a secret passion for swimming. Well, maybe not so normal. During the swimming unit in gym after her 13th birthday, she couldn't stop creating tidal waves! Her eyes turned an exquisite turquoise and was an amazing swimmer--so good she once out-swam a dolphin. When Sara felt she was constantly being watched, she got suspicious. She would see weird things, and was once convinced she saw a Minotaur on her cousin's farm! Eventually a kind Satyr took her off the street and to Camp Half-Blood, where Sara felt like she fit right in.
RP Example*: I twisted the water, contorted it, as it floated out of the bucket. This is what I perform for the public. An illusion? No way. Trickery? Oh, please. I don't know how I can do it, but I can. Ever since my 13th birthday last year, I've been able to control water. I feel like a freak, a misfit, with my power. Some scraggly men hate my hourly performances, throwing empty beer cans and sticks at me. Some of the wealthier-looking families, however, love it. I know what he is, a Satyr. I remember them from our Greek Mythology lesson at school. "Come along, Sara," he says. "We need to leave. Right now."

The most powerful thing she can do with water is control the ocean. Any ocean. She can create massive waves and flood countries! But she would never flood innocent people.
The largest sea creature she can summon is a giant squid.
She can use her powers all day, except when it's a full moon. She can't use her powers for a full day when it's a full moon. Some times it wears off faster than other times.

That is way too powerful for her water powers.

Ok. The most powerful thing she can do with water is explode water tanks.

The "water storage" tanks that you see in NYC. The giant metal water tanks on stilts. Is that still too powerful? If so, I'll go with your idea.
