Zelda shot a glittery ice beam, aiming for Sonic's legs. Sonic jumped into the air, dodging it, and rolled onto Zelda's head. Zelda yanked the little blue creature off her hair and threw him across the arena. Before she knew it, Sonic was being consumed by the vortex underneith them, and loosing his last life of the day. Zelda had won the match.

(Zelda and Sonic) As Zelda headed back to the resting area, she passed Wolf, who was ready to go out into the final destination arena to battle Pikachu.

(Wolf and Pikachu)

"Good luck!" Zelda wished on Wolf as they passed each other. He replied simply with a, "I don't need luck." Zelda rolled her eyes, gave a sweet smile and kept walking. When Zelda entered the resting area, she was approached by zero suit samus, who had taken on Fox earlyer today. (Zero and Fox)

"Hey." Zero Suit Samus (Zero for short) said, "I heard you just got back from the arena. Who'd you brawl with?" Zelda smiled to see Zero safe and sound after her fight with Fox.

"Sonic. I totally whipped him! His lives won't be restored till tomorrow." Zelda looked at Zero, who seemed a little un-satisfied.

"Listen, Zel," Zero said, "Everyone knows it's you." Zelda looked confused and somewhat surprised.

"Who?" She asked.

"Shiek!" Zero said, crossing her arms, "He makes a big apearence whenever your about to lose the last of your lives. And when he comes along you just go off and 'hide'. Really Zel. No one believes those lies your promoting."

(Shiek) Zelda blushed.

"Oh no. Shiek is just a really cool guy who seems to want to save me." Zelda put her hands behind her back nervosly.

"Oh get over yourself." Zero said before walking away.

CHAPTER TWO!

     The next morning, Zelda found herself in her room. SHe didn't really remember how she got there or what happend after her talk with Zero, she assumed she must have blacked out. She heard a knock at her door. As she opened it, she saw link standing there, looking as wonderful as ever.

 She smiled sweetly.

     "Oh, good morning, Link." She said. Link didn't look happy to see her.

     "Stop it, Zel." He said. Zelda felt confused.

     "What?" She asked.

     "You know what!" Link protested, "You KNOW I don't like you fighting! You could get hurt, and that Shiek guy has to save you EVERY time, when I should be the only one saving you from anything. You shouldn't even HAVE to be saved!"

     "She's a princess." Said Peach, stepping next to Link, "She was made to be saved."

 Zelda smirked. Link crossed his arms.

     "Oh, and you would know all about that, Miss, 'OH MARIO SAVE MEEEEEEE. BOWSER KIDNAPPED ME...AGAIN!!!'" Peach put her hands on her hips.

     "Shut up, Link!" She said, "You know that Mario isn't my type." Link looked away and muttered,

     "We all know you just pretend to like him." Suddenly, a ringing shout came from a loud speaker that was set up in the corner of Zelda's room.

     "NEXT BATTLE: ZELDA VS. FALCO. ARENA: NEW PORK CITY!" It buzzed off. Zelda looked at Link. He rolled his eyes.

     "Fine, but this is the LAST time your fighting." He said. Zelda ignored that and ran to the arena.

She met Falco at New Pork City.

 "Hey beautiful." Falco said, "You ready to die?" Zelda sighed.

     Not the most comforting words for Link to hear.
