Life Before CHB: He lived with his mother and step-dad. Fir some reason they always hated him...He had been forced to live in their attic, and was barely seen. When he was at school, bullies tormented him because he was shorter than them. The only person who ever put up with him was a person named Jayden.
Roleplay Example: Jake slung his backpack over his shoulder. "Finally!" He thought. "Summer vacation! I don't have to deal with anyone but my...Parents...For two months..." His happy mood disappeared in a flash. He would have to put up with his parents for two months, with no breaks. School suddenly seemed a lot better than his cramped apartment.
He sighed and started to trudge home. It wasn't long before he heard a cough behind him. Turning around, he saw Jayden, the only kid who had seemed to put up with him.
"What do you want?" He snapped at the taller person in front of him.
Jayden grabbed his arm and started dragging him away.
"Hey! Quit it!" Jake hissed at him menacingly.
"No time to explain Jake, we gotta get you out of here! Now! Come on! We have to go!" Jayden said, not stopping.
"Go where!" Jake hissed again, digging his feet into the rough concrete.
"To camp, the only safe place for people like you."
"People like me? What are you talking about!"
Jayden sighed and tugged harder. "Half-bloods, demigods, whatever you prefer. Now come ON!"
Jake didn't stop resisting. "What is a half-blood!? Tell me! Or I won't go with you!"
Jayden stopped tugging and looked back at Jake. "A half-blood is half god, half mortal. You happen to be one of them."
"Woah, woah woah. Half god? Are you crazy?!"
"No, i'm not." Jayden sighed and tugged hard enough to move Jake. "I'll explain more when we get to camp!"

Talents are usually namely for 'human' talents like, not using their powers. These can involve sports/instruments they play, habits/tendencies they have, abilities they possess that normal humans can do like origami, drawing, unicycling, etc.
