I walked to the now-destroyed Labyrinth entrance, remembering the battle that had taken so many lives. I fingered my sword, Bloody War, and sighed. Now that Kronos was gone, Camp Half Blood could rest.

I walked in, sensing the strong energy waves. "I've never seen this place before," I sighed.

"It was from last year," I told the boy, still looking at the Labyrinth Entrance. "It was from the Battle of the Labyrinth. I guess you're new."

"Kendall. You?"

I shrugged. "I'm just a daughter of Ares. Nothing special, except for insane mode."

I scowled. "Is that supposed to be a joke?"

"Right, right. Like I love to be associated with my father's ever-violent nature."

"Tell that to Clarisse's victims."

"Well, duh." I frowned. "You probably only rely on the sun or moon's energy. Or the energy waves in the air."

I raised my eyebrows. "You must be strong for a minor god's child."

"Minor gods get less credit than they deserve." I looked behind me to see Mars trailing after me, his small eyes looking at the Labyrinth entrance with distaste.

"You don't get as judged easily." I knelt down and patted Mars's snout.

"At times, yes. I'm always afraid that I might lose control, though...."
