Ali's Bunk

I walk in and sit on my bunk. I look at a picture of my boyfriend, Andreas, and smile. I miss him a lot, but mortals aren't allowed beyond camp borders. I look at pics of us together a lot, but maybe I'm trying to convince myself I'm loyal to him. Because the truth is, I'm in love with someone in camp.

I walked in and left a box of cupcake with a note that says "Merry Christmas, Ali. Have a good year ahead. With love as always, your sister Isabelle. P.S. don't worry the cupcakes taste on what you crave most. Enjoy!" Though I'm not that close to her (Ali) and I haven't talked to her too but hey, its what I do every year. Bake some cookies and cupcakes for friends and siblings. Then I left.

I walk in. "Uh, is this where barbie girls die?" I ask "but your bunk is cool".

I laugh. "That's exactly what I thought when I came here. And thanks. Want a cupcake? They taste like what you crave most, even if it's not a flavor."

"Sure" I say. I walk over to her mirror and notice something.....a picture of a boy thats NOT Austin. "You lied to Austin, you did have boyfriends before him" I say.

"He... wasn't really my boyfriend. I convinced myself he was, and then I got a text from him. 'Stop telling everyone we're dating. I could've said we were just friends, but now we aren't even that! I'm deleting your contact, so deal with it.'" I feel like crying. I've never had anyone accuse me of lying and what Andreas said to me was the meanest thing anyone's ever said to me. Ever.

I sigh. "Okay we can be friends, just one thing, if you guys ever break up it can't effect our or your friendship" I say. Then I leave.

I walk in. I see the letter and sit down. I let a few tears seep out. but there's no point in moping. Austin doesn't want me, fine.
