Life Before CHB*: Astrid tried to keep her life as normal as a Half-Blood's life could be. As she struggled through school her father taught her to expect the unexpected, about the Greek gods and goddesses and what they do,taught her the workings of magic, and trained her to fight like she was about to face death itself. She always wondered why he did all he did but never questioned it. When she turned 13 she was brought to camp by a satyr, that had found her after a fire at her school cause by a monster trying to kill her.
