This place is new. It has new faces. But im used to it by now

I never kno my mother, but it didnt matter to me. I loved my father a lot, and my only true friend was my twin brother, Johnny. We could trust each other and never let the other go unprotected. I guess i should have figured something was up when we found out we could communicate to each other through our thoughts. Twin telepathy, our father joked, every twin has that. I guess he didnt want to tell us.

Other than that, life was perfect. Hunting trips, the beach, holiday vaca... it was good. That is, until the year I turned ten. My father died in a car accident while going to work. After that, Johnny and I were put into foster care. I can name every street, name, and type of car from each foster home. And even through all of this, i was a happy child, not knowing wat was happening. It wasnt until the third on that we started having problems.

In that foster home, they had a son that was a real brat. He loved to bully me when Johnny wasn't around. One day he pushed me to the edge, and i turned around and hit him. The next thing i know, there was a burn mark on his check. Needles to say, a week later we were in a different house.

At every house, we had problems wether it was me or Johnny. When we turned 16, he had left... or so they say. I say he was taken, because i know he would never leave me. We were all we had. So i left to go look for him. I decided to go into the woods and live there in a tent with my pet my father had given us on our 9th birthday. I had all my stuff there, thinking i would find himin a couple of weeks. Those weeks turned to a month, that month turned into a year.

One day, i went out to practice my aim, when Orianthi, my pet wolf, ran away. I went after her when i saw a tall gate. I thought how weird it was for something so tall to be in the middle of the woods. I went through following Orianthi. I found her, when all of a sudden i heard a noise behind me. I turned and saw a satyre. And thats how i ended up in Camp Half Blood.
