Can people please just like stop telling others to calm down or saying "hey don't turn this disscussion into a fight'

Can I just tell you that nearly every time you tell someone to calm down they ARE calm. And most discusts you ask not to turn into a fight never would have turned into a fight in the first place. And I know I'm not the only member annoyed to hell and back when someone pulls either of these, so I'd just like to ask members to STOP.

AND I'D ASK THIS NOT TO BE DELETED. ELLE.

I'm sure it would be to some great ease to quite a few members on this site if people would stop telling them to calm down, especially when they're utterly calm. So, like, this iss just a big fat PLEASE. So...PLEASE STOP WITH THIS OKAY. It's stupidity. And annoying.

I agree.
Telling someone to calm down, especially when they're calm, will just get them mad. And just because someone's discussing something, doesn't mean it'll automatically turn into a fight.
Like.

Person 1: I like Taylor Swift. .
Person 2: I do, too!
Person 3: I don't. |:
Person 1 and 2: ?! Why not?
Person 3: I don't like her songs.
Person 2: I do! They speak my life!
Person 1: I like her clothes lul
Person 3: WELL, I like Adele better. Her voice is so amazing~
Person 2: Im not a fan of her.
Person 1: I like her, too!

See, THIS IS A DISCUSSION.
If Person 3 would of went, "EWWWW I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!!!! SEH CAN GO DIE!!!!" , that would of ended up in a fight. But most people are mature on here, and they won't start a fight during a discusion as long as someone doesn't insult something, ie., Taylor Swift.

Did that make sense? ._.
