The infirmary was relatively empty. Deciding to stretch her legs, Luna left the infirmary and head off the the lake. Upon reaching the murkey body of water, she found a lovely little boulder to lean against, sat down and closed her eyes.

OOC: Reminds me of my first rp with Luna. It was her and Cato (I think) in the mess hall. Also, I am not gonna color because of this stupid tablet, I will put the first letter of the first name though.
R. I walk along the lake and look around. This was one of the places I hadn't been yet. I see a girl sitting near a boulder. I say, " Hello."

Luna was exhausted, absolutely spent. Working double shifts in the infirmary had taken all of her energy and them some. She heaved a sigh, her eyebrows crinkling together. "Can I help you with something?" She asked, annoyed that she was being bothered when she wanted to relax.

"No, I suppose not," Luna waved her hand dismissively.

OOC Luna is just... Luna. I could switch her out for Randi, who does like to talk.

After a few minutes of silence, Luna got up. "See ya around, kid," She said, and scampered off to the infirmary, once again.

Not to far away, Randi left her cabin and went to go cause trouble by the lake.

Rayne walked to the edge of the lake and sat down looking at her reflection. "Isn't it lovely out today Lisana?" she asked her stuffed bunny. Leaning back on her elbows Rayne stared at the sky, "Maybe if i'm lucky today will be peaceful."

Re: The Lake

Post by Morgan Landry on 2/3/2014, 2:08 am

Falko had been practicing swimming for one hour and a half now, and she was starting to grow tired. The muscles in her thighs and forearms were starting to ache and her calves had gone numb. The Asian daughter of Deimos made a crawl over to the shore and stood up, staggering once, then made her way up. The sand clung to her wet feet, caking them in ochre colors as she waded up, water dripping from her hair and her black sports swimsuit gleamed in the sunlight.
Right next to where she had left her clothes was sitting Rayne, a daughter of Phobos from her own cabin.

"Hey there, Rayne," Falko said with a smile as she grabbed her purple towel.

Rayne tensed up at her name but relaxed when she realized it was only Falko. "Oh hey, did you enjoy your swim?" she asked politely. Rayne didn't know Falko very well but she was nice enough. Her dark eyes met those of her cabin mate, one of the only people on earth almost completely immune to her powers. Rayne waved Lisana's arm at Falko "Lisana says you look tired." most people learned quickly to play along with her delusion.

Falko chuckled.

"Lisana is right," she told Rayne. "I'm indeed tired. I've been swimming for what, one hour and a half?" She stretched the sore muscles of her arms and passed her towel across her face, then on her shoulders, wiping her ochre skin from wet to humid. Pearls of water were still sticking in her black hair and she wrapped them in another towel.

She was swimming to keep herself in good condition, of course, but also because swimming was part of her day at the Cirque du Soleil: synchronized swimming or underwater exercises were included in her routine. By keeping it up, she hoped to get a place in the Cirque one day; Falko didn't aim for a little one, but for the best she could get -- being extremely ambitious, she didn't stop even when she should.

"Wow that's a long time...any reason for swimming that long? Or do you just like it?" Rayne inquired. Falko was really nice to her and she wanted to become her friend. It seemed like an easy task since Falko is immune to Rayne's aura of fear, yet the daughter of phobos wasn't sure how to approach the subject of friendship.

Rayne held Lisana close to her body and whispered in her ear "I wonder if she'll be my friend too?" after a moment she looked back up at Falko. A delicate smile formed on her lips as she waited for her cabin mate to reply.

Her bipolar disorder made it difficult to have long lasting connections with people. Due to Rayne's frequent personality changes between angelic and demonic.

"I'm training," Falko smiled, her humid skin shining a bit in the sunlight. "I sometimes train with water demigods like children of Triton or Amphitrite, because we can do synchronized swimming."

She sits down on a sun-warmed rock after having spread her towel on it.

"I want to qualify for the Cirque du Soleil, where my mother is working at as a contortionist, so I'm training in various disciplines: swimming, contortion, tight-rope walking, dancing, juggling, fire-breathing and gymnastics."

"That sure is a lot to master. How do you make time for all of that? I mean don't you just want to go into the forest and shred monsters to pieces?" Rayne wondered. "I mean I like to sit in my room and listen to music while watching criminal investigative shows but I hate having to actually focus on doing something unless I have to. Or if it's interesting."

She often rambled on as if others really cared about what she had to say. Rayne sat cross legged looking at Falko "So I'm guessing you get along with your mommy? Mine's the best."

Her hands gently made Lisana's head nod in agreement. "I'm sure your mommy must be great though, just not as great as mine." she said so matter of factually with a sweet look on her face.

Re: The Lake

"I have a schedule over a week," Falko replied. "I train one discipline every day, that way I'm sure to make progress."

She stretched and took a cereal bar out of her backpack; she had three so she gave one to Rayne as well, and smiled at her.

"Yeah, I see you sometimes when you watch the criminal investigations," she said as she bit into her bar of cereal, drawing a crunching sound. "I'm more into good horror movies though. The Shining. Alien. Though Alien is a bit old now, but I love the set and the music. Set and alien have been designed by H.R. Giger, my drawing idol."

She took another bite of her cereal bar; indeed, she was a huge fan of H.R. Giger: at her home in Montreal they had bought several decoration items designed by him and Falko had even designed her and Terra's bunk bed in their cabin to look like the architecture of the Giger bar in Switzerland.

"My mother?" she asked. She had an extremely good relationship with her mother, and admired her for she was kind of her role-model: a brilliant contortionist with a flaming personality who had been able to make a god fall in love. That was what Falko wanted to achieve (she's overambitious).

"I don't think we should compare our mothers," the Asian girl said with a smile. "Even if we did, we'd end up arguing."
